These campaigns are being run by ordinary individuals, essentially Reddit "powermods" doing this out of their own volition, with their own money and resources to personally promote what they want, because they are scared of Trump winning the election. It shows just how dire it is for Biden really, that people are so scared of how good Trump's chances of winning are, that they resort to this activity. I’ll admit it’s a little odd hearing Americans talk like Trump winning will turn their country into something out of a dystopian novel. As someone from a country that more closely resembles one it would take more than his victory to have paramilitaries on the streets. It took us CIA, Mossad, and KMT backing plus a 50+ civil war to reach that state.

Your best bet would be the entire country looking more like a deep red state. So yeah, pretty shitty. Just not Handmaiden’s Tale level of shitty.

This book is about the west’s and South Korea’s genocidal war against North Korea. Supposedly, a few hundred books were imported to the US, but when the government found out they seized the shipment and destroyed it by dumping it in the ocean

Also, a few months ago a user mentioned a south korean-produced and korean-language documentary about the genocide in the north, but it was an exclusive for film festivals it seemed. Does anyone remember this documentary’s name? I believe it was recently made within the past few years.
