the criteria I used (which i won’t hold anyone else to, use your own criteria) was whether I played it for more than 2 hours (steam’s cutoff for returns, or at least it was as of the last time i returned a steam game). like I’ve technically played tekken and thps, but only when visiting other people’s houses as a kid, so can I really say I played them? at the same time there are games like yakuza 0 where I never got around to beating it because life stuff came up and I lost interest by the time i got free time again, but I put in like 30 hours so should I say I never played it?
10, although there are a couple of these i've been meaning to try.
i'm in a weird spot where i actually want to play video games but i find it hard to be motivated to, and even most of the ones i have played just couldn't keep me interested. the last game i actually got hooked on and enjoyed all the way through was chrono trigger.

same, ever since I started working full time (almost a decade at this point) almost every time I try to play a game, I feel some guilt, like I should be doing something more "productive" like learning a new skill or catching up on work (I'm very behind) or tending to some chore I've been ignoring. the last game I finished was mouthwashing, but that barely counts since it's a 3 hour story game, and the last one before that? I can't even remember X( it really might have been CP 2077 approx 1.5 years ago
I’m also at about 95! I was lucky to have every console growing up, and a computer. I stopped after the PS3/wii/360 because the XBone and PS4 were rubbish, and now I just play the computer.
My favorite franchises I've spent the most time with aren't even on the list. No love for Mount and Blade or Battle for Middle Earth. I wish RTS games were made more often
This list caters to old people like myself. I don't identify as a g*mer (the last game I played to completion was Mass Effect 3, and that was over 10 years ago) but I've played over half of these franchises.
25 using the criteria of Games with at Least 10 hours in it. All my thousands of hours of are in like 4 games Rimworld, Dota, Paradox Map Games, CS:GO/CS2
Shin Megami Tensei. A long-running RPG series by Atlus. The precursor to the Persona series. It's like the foundation of the "fight god" style of Japanese RPG.
I got 52. This is the consequence of me being one of those "games are better than ever! Just stick to indiesTM" g*mers before quitting. That and it's missing a lot of arcade games like KOF (15+ games), Metal Slug, Mahvel, Pacman, DDR, and so on.
Six, but Minecraft, Factorio and Dwarf Fortress have been keeping me going for at least the last 10 years, and I've played other games not on this (somewhat skewed) list.
73 here. I've been gaming for a looong time, but there are a lot of these I haven't played. A lot of it was from a lack of PS3 or classics that I just haven't gotten around to.
Not a mega gamer though. I think that score is because this list covers such a length of time and some of the options have so many versions. Over the years I've tried most bigger game franchises at some point.

As a Yakuza fan, I'd say if you played 30 hours but didn't beat 0, you definitely gave it a shot but you didn't "play the yakuza series." It's like saying you watched the first couple episodes of the Sopranos and weren't into it.
51, but it's very different across franchises. For some, I played multiple games from beginning to the end (for gta, probably all of them, except for the first) and for others I just briefly touched them, like Bayonetta, Yakuza or Metroid.
Warhammer (WFB) is not the same as Warhammer 40k, and there's only like 3 (4 if I'm generous) games in the setting. I don't think anyone really considers Mordheim or Vermintide to be big enough hits to be listed with the other stuff here, and TW:WH is already covered by the Total War entry.
100/100. I haven't played all of them a ton, like I played Saga Frontier on emulation for a few hours when I was backlogging the PS1 RPGs. I actually finish very few games, especially since most AAA stuff either ends the main plot 20% in or else the final third of the game is bloated with collectathons and BS to drag out the runtime a little longer. I like to try new things though, so I experiment a lot.
Some stuff I only ever remember playing at a friend's house when I was younger. Somewhat surprised no flavor of Dynasty Warriors wasn't on the list. Half the reason I have an entry in any of this stuff is because emulation was how I was able to play games when I was in college and had no money so I just went wild with some older games.
If the criteria is played for at least 10 hours like Thorngraff said then I'm around 70+, if its played for only like an hour then I'm probably 85+. But I got started on the NES and DOS so I've had some time to go those hours in.
