"I CAN'T BELIEVE THE COMMIES DID THIS TO US"
    repeat

    2016 never ends

    • Is it really this hard to be like 'Yeah maybe running a candidate that won 0 primaries and was trying to outflank her (openly fascist) opponent from the right wasn't smart (after we called them 'weird' and then got the coveted Dick Cheney endorsement)?'

      I guess it is

    • In 10 years: "Our program to deport every single person with a greater-than-average concentration of melanin in their skin, and exterminate everybody who isn't cis and heterosexual, is facing some real opposition from these delusional cultural marxist tankies and we need to STOP listening to them if we wanna win the next election. Sometimes change has to be incremental; perhaps in 50 years when our 9-0 Supreme Court is brought back to 5-4 or better, we can consider allowing non-whites to exist in this country. We have to RESIST fascism in all its forms."

  • YOU HAVE TO VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRATS YOU GUYS! WHY WONT YOU LEFTIES VOTE FOR THE DEMS????

Damn, we lost? Hmm... what happened was that we were too leftist.

  • Yes, yes, jettison literally the most (and in my experience, at this point, only) active part of your coalition (specifically the liberal gay and trans people). That is good incrementalist strategy, and not an indication of future political intent or spinelessness.

  • my outsourcing and Hedgemony!

..... We ditched solid hard-working union allies and courted progressive nerds... for this?

Build homes! Buy American! Support your local union! I know some of us will have to plug our noses while we accept protectionism; but what worries you more: MAGA or union protectionists? Cuz that's the actual price for our arrogance. You either accept the protectionists or you get the MAGAs. Reality sucks, but that's the score.

Look, I don't love unions. I support them in the abstract, but a lot of them are shit. We have to be honest, though. We need them more than they need us.....

It supports the Labor or it gets the Cheeto again.

  • This made me angry. "The numbers didn't work" proceeds to explain how the numbers did work

Oh no not everything is profitable, instead we have a sustainable business model that meets the needs of the nation! The horror!
Can you imagine that maybe, maybe possibly the population density would have been higher if public transport had been the basis of traffic, rather than individual automobiles?
"The numbers don't work though" NEITHER DO THE NUMBERS FOR THE FUCKING CARS! THEY ARE SUBSIDIZED TO HELL AND BACK YOU INCOMPETENT APE
