You're glad boomers don't know history because pretty much the only historical examples of sanctions being "good" is apartheid South Africa.

And all the shitload of examples of economic warfare only harming civilians while not achieving the stated goals of getting rid of BadGuy of BadCountry is simply dismissed.

Yeah, that's why I said it's the only good one. Every time sanctions have been done otherwise, it's been horrible for everyday people, killing millions.

And even then it only played a small part in the (partial) fall of apartheid.
