You know, I truly think this war is Monstrous and Putin is almost entirely unjustified in what he’s doing here, but so much of the response from western radlibs has just devolved entirely into apologia for their preferred brand of capitalist imperialism. Literally making arguments about like “NATO is antifascist,” and shit like that. Motherfuckers, we have over 100 years of history and writing about how lesser eviling western imperialism and siding with liberalism has been a death sentence for socialism, and they’re still making all the same mistakes.

I'm hereby lathing a lanyard dork who is going to write an op-ed in some anglo journal of record about how the Nazis, despite having been misguided and products of their time on the Jewish question, should be recognised as visionaries who correctly identified the Asiatic hordes of the Russian steppes as an existential threat to western civilization.

Yeah, I feel like I'm going insane. Opposing NATO has been the default stance of basically every single left wing movement (and even several milquetoast socdem parties) since the organizations inception, and yet here we are today being screamed at that "ackshully NATO good" by massive hordes of self-proclaimed "leftists" who most likely didn't know shit about anarchism/socialism/communism literally two years ago. And they've somehow managed to take complete control of the narrative on every major social media platform.
It's fucking surreal.
