If anyone needs proof that Americans have no coherent belief systems they need look no further than the warping of this catty embodiment of the seven deadly sins personified into somehow being an agent of Christ
Several years ago I took the funniest picture I'll ever take, and I gotta find it again. It was at a protest downtown. It's of that maga spartan guy, Johnny something, all geared up with his shield and helmet, pointing at someone off-camera in an extremely dramatic "video game character challenging you to a duel" way.
Behind him, the Trump crowd is holding up a large sign, crudely painted on blank posterboard, with a Ghostbusters-style circle and slash.
Inside the circle and slash, splashed in blocky capital letters, are the words "CULTURAL MARKISM".
Do you think he’ll be crucified next to two shoplifters, one of which asks for forgiveness and seeks legitimate employment in the afterlife, the other is stricken down by the Heaven Police Department?
Or do you think he’ll be crucified next to Ronald McDonald and Hillary Clinton?
Oh god oh fuck, this is actually a globalist infiltrator that's gonna infect everyone with an EU mind control virus! Someone inform the patriots before it's too late!!
I find the background almost more interesting. Not the painting. Just a big expanse of mowed grass with some trees off in the distance while the reflection of a chandelier floats above like the ghost of an indifferent god.
Paintings can take days, weeks, even months to complete. Imagine painting something like this everyday for weeks on end, but at no point during that time do you ever bother to spell check the word "righteuos"
Also God's(?) hands in the back look like the master hand from Super Smash Bros. Is Trump going to be the surprise final fighter?!
That cross is too short and would allow him to stand on the ground once it was planted. Much less likely to be fatal. If you look at depictions of stages of the cross, Jesus tends to be crouching to support the weight and is still depicted carrying the cross at a much more dramatic angle. I suppose depicting Trump struggling would have gone against the ethos of the design but whatever.
Isn't this blasphemous? I know it's been a long time since I've been anywhere near the Christian churches, but it feels like something they should have an issue with.
