Our music LITERALLY creeped people out: they got out of there because of the tactile hallucinations of creepy crawlies on their skin our carefully calibrated psychological weapon disguised as music caused.
We were mostly hired by rival venues and neighbors of noisy ones.
I usually think "oh shit a spider" when I feel itchy. Then, once I felt itchy and thought "a spider i- meh, you always think that when you itch." and then when I looked down, there was actually a spider crawling on my leg.
This happened to me a few months ago, I felt a tickle on my toes while I was brushing my teeth and was like "nah it's just a string from my pants or something" then I looked down a few seconds later and see a big ass wolf spider standing on my foot. I freaked out and launched myself in to the wall behind me and it ran up into the crack between the sink and the wall where I couldn't reach it and just sat there... taunting me. Normally I have a catch and release policy for bugs but that one was pushing it.
Similar experience but with an absolutely massive cockroach ("Palmetto bug" for those wondering the scale). I freaked the fuck out lol. I thought my arm was just itchy but it didn't go away and I looked down and started flailing everywhere.
Sometimes I have an itchy feeling and get paranoid that there is a bug on me. And there almost never is so usually I ignore it. But occasionally there actually is a bug on me so I'm not just imagining!

I'm finally peeling. I don't remember it taking a week to get to peel phase in my younger days, but fuck it. Sweet relief is only one solid exfoliation away.
