What games accomplish that?
Aside from indies or 2D games I guess.
I kinda remember they still see each other post credits scene?
I could be wrong though.
Yeah stopped bothering with setting up the hour manually for these things... Every rainy or windy season my electricity is quite erratic.
Ah, what would we do without the EU.
and maybe this bag is from the first half.
I wouldn't dare... For many reasons 🤣
Nah homie, I am from LATAM, no good reason, no eyes care for what I do online here.
The only reason (and the most popular among the people I know) is to get better content (AKA USA) on streaming sites such as Netflix lol... And I have been using ProtonVPN free as of recently because it is an easy way to get rid of my IPv6 connection in my Android phone (why is this so unnecessarily hard to achieve BTW!?) because I think my ISP is shit and can't handle IPv6+IPv4 sites properly or IDK... I get huge delays browsing sites like Trakt and Plex from my Android phone.... And I am afraid I use both servcies daily... YouTube and Spotify also take its time loading, all these issues go away once I switch to an IPv4 network only.
Oh, and some Lemmy images take longer to load here too!
Wait for some lemming hopping here telling you "for now" even when they probably can't understand 3rd world countries 🤣
COVID-19 Hmm
I hope I don't get crucified for saying this, but I am not fond of old reddit... Maybe because I didn't "grow" with it (my 1st Reddit experience should have been the Alien Blue app for iOS).
I don't enjoy clicking each image to get it to a comfortable view size and I miss a lot mark as read on scroll (to be honest this isn't present in any of those redesigns AFAIK).
I am aware you can pretty much improve your experience completely using browser add-ons such as RES but at the moment that I used said add-on they dropped support for Safari, so I lost track of it...
Nowadays I got back to the right path (Firefox) so I might check what it has to offer...
Taking advantage of this nonsense... What is your preferred desktop UI for Lemmy?
LOL.
So people really pay for this?
I might head to the desktop to see what it is as I have never paid for gold... The only way I got it one day (and I don't even think I "enjoyed it" was because of the Alien Blue iOS client which gave away something like 4 years of Gold if I remember correctly).
I appreciate this setting still existing, especially because some custom skins/UI can be too slow, but IMHO I prefer a balanced/stock value as the animations nowadays are so polished and smooth that I'd rather use it that way than butchering them with faster speeds...
I am using MIUI right now and it has its own version of this, so I just use "balanced mode".
When I use AOSP I always use stock because even my SD 865 feels weird when the animation is too fast but the app is still loading, I think it kills the momentum lol.
I had a coworker that had the birthdays of his contacts at the end of each of them, so he would see that date anytime he chatted with them (us?) through WhatsApp.
I don't question his methods, but that worked for him.
I wonder if it is too hard for Google to convince Apple to implement this with iOS, even in the form of an app...
I just used pairdrop.net a couple hours ago because I was too lazy to install LocalSend in my gf's iPhone and it was a breeze to use to share a short video from there to my Android device...
I wonder when this BS will hit Pluto TV, hopefully not soon... In the meantime I hoard my beloved childhood classics and create my own channels with DizqueTV lol.
What the fuck?
There is no way I'd use Lemmy with the web app if I didn't know about:
- Summit
- Voyager
- Boost
- Eternity
- Sync
Clients... The same could be said for more apps (like Reddit, Feedly etc) so yeah I think I am more in the mobile apps, aside from extremely annoying ones, such as Amazon, Ebay, AliExpress etc.
I did that... In 2011 or something, when not every website had a mobile UI... I personally don't recommend it, in fact I'd dare to say this played a big role in the web forums to die... To not adapt properly for the tiny screens at the required time.
I wouldn't say it is a better choice, not at least compared to RD though.
They have been forced to bend the knee as well since they are french based I am afraid, for instance I saw some posts saying that they were not accepting new accounts or generating refunds automatically for new users due to these new rules...
People are looking for alternatives for RD, and I am all in for that for sure, that is why I started my initial comment saying a debrid service and not specifically RD, but that is what I use so I can't speak for all the other ones ¯(ツ)_/¯
But thanks to the community RD still a quality service, at least for torrent streaming, hence why I still use it.
How do you even land there?
I only know 4chan through comments, I wouldn't even bother looking for another site like that lol.
And they give really really old ones too.
As a Patient Gamer I'll take it...
I heard they gave away a nice title called Half Life 2 not too long ago... Sadly I still haven't caught up with HL 1 :/
