The wine cave liberals go on cruise
The wine cave liberals go on cruise
The wine cave liberals go on cruise
I heap a lot of contempt on people who completely miss the point of Starship Troopers, but that's nothing compared to the people whose take away from WALL-E is to dream of boarding The Axiom...
Fuck, this needs to be a tagline
Honestly, I support them all boarding some Axiom or other spaceship/pleasure cruiser. Puts them all in the right place for a nice ICBM or a dozen
Struggling to find the words here
So cruises, a microcosm of environmental destruction and consumerist excess, are offering an opportunity to escape the results of continued consumerism and environmental destruction
Hmm
They're probably emboldened by the fact that they contributed to the climate change that's melting all the icebergs.
Though wise Poseidon has other methods of swallowing the rich who completely lack hubris.
God willing.
Succinct.
Or touche as Stan Kelly would say of yer analysis...
Imagine going on this and coming back to find out that like Israel's been nuked and egypt has reformed itself into the neo-ayyubid sultanate somehow in the time you were gone
Let alone a 4-year cruise. Like, I have a feeling that the conditions on board may enthropy, due to capitalist mismanagement, to the point the cruise stay seems more like a nightmare... then again, no one's stopped falling for buying Tesla cars
party loses election
console yourself with 4 year long cruise
miss election
party loses election
console yourself with 4 year long cruise
miss election…
It's a self-sustaining business model for the cruise company, I'll give them that.
You could save multiple people's lives in Gaza with that kind of money
Sadly, we all know the U.SS entity has goals contrare to that...
I hear the Red Sea is great this time of year.
Completely unrelated, Ansarallah take my energy
Get them near the orcas so they can learn how to sink ships as well
Aren't those cruise ships burning through like a million cars worth of gas ever day?
Prolly...
Triangle of Sadness sequel sounding lit
$160k :o Being stuck on a boat with a bunch of rich Liberals for 4 years sounds like torture.
Which is the best thing you can do to a bunch of liberals
I have no wish to torture anybody but also if they decide on their own accord ¯(ツ)_/¯
In a world..
Where a new bird flu has ravaged humanity, the last vestige of civilized humanity is a bunch of brunch liberals who took a cruise at an extraordinarily lucky time. How long till their cruise ship politics turns fascist?
The good thing, though, is if disaster strikes the ship and the wine cave libs end up in a Gilligan's Island situation, they'll be dead in a couple weeks because none of them have any skills besides being professional managers. They're just gonna delegate foraging food to other people and establishing a pecking order (with surviving crew at the bottom, obviously) until they just get thrown into the ocean.
Or we could get a Triangle of Sadness scenario where the crew takes over by being the only ones with survival skills, and bullies the rich libs into submission
if they get stuck on an island they would immediately start sabotaging each other and in the spirit of civility start voting people off the island just like those badass shows on their television
Yep, this seems like another Titan situation
it's a fyre festival titan sub crossover episode!
I would pay money for a liberal Webcam on that ship to watch libs melt down when they don't have wifi to watch Colbert after 36 hours.
"Pardon me, folks - I just need to step outside of politics for a bit!"
I'm betting it will end up like Ghost Ship.
4 years? I guess Trump's death camps will be ready by then.
JG Ballard novel
Imagine going on a cruise to escape politics but the only reason anyone is on the cruise is to also escape politics so you're surrounded by a bunch of Jeff Tiedrich mega fans for 4 years with no escape
Imagine going on such a cruise with your ML reading group and scaring the fuck out of the liberal passengers who are unable to escape you.
Oh so this is just an adaptation of Jean-Paul Sartre's No Exit
