President Joe Biden told Democratic governors during a meeting at the White House on Wednesday that part of his plan going forward is to stop scheduling events after 8 p.m. so that he could get more sleep, according to three sources briefed on his comments.
Is this supposed to be a bad thing? Honestly I don't want the guy holding the nuclear launch codes to be making decisions on a few hours of sleep, no matter what your age is.
Yes, it is a bad thing when the guy who is supposedly the most powerful human being on the planet has the sleep schedule of a 12 year old housecat, and spends like 15 hours a day in a horizontal position.
So now you're just projecting what you think his schedule is? Just because he doesn't want to have events scheduled at all hours of the night doesn't mean he actually goes to bed at 8pm and doesn't wake up until 11am. Any normal person needs time to eat dinner, time to unwind before going to bed. Hell I start unwinding around 7pm but don't go to sleep until almost midnight. Maybe you're just one of their weird people who requires zero sleep but the rest of the planet actually takes time to relax so they can get some decent sleep and be up early again the next day.
Yes. Seemingly everyone else can stay up past 8pm. He works from 11am to 4pm with a nap in between. They're obviously lying because he's obviously sundowning. If this is your standard for a politician, why even bother?
Do you know how many problems would be solved if the nation wasn't run by workaholics, but by people who expect to retire at a reasonable age, while they still have some life to live?
57 is the oldest we should elect a president to their first term, so they are done with gainful, serious work by the age of 65. The only work someone over 65 should be doing is profiting from enjoyment of a useful hobby.
