  • I wish. My poor laptop isn't capable of running that game unless it's at the lowest settings, which ruin the experience.

  • Spotify Wrapped 2023 is out, what's your top artist and top song for the year?
  • Not easy to do. Breaking 100k minutes would be at the upper edge of my Spotify listening limit.

Apparently I listen like I'm British and I'm not sure whether to take that as a compliment or an insult.

  • Welcome to lemm.ee!
  • there's only one lemmit bot, since I blocked it I don't see any more of its repost garbage.

  • Manila vows to remove barrier placed by China's coast guard at a disputed site
  • It's not a disputed site. It's Philippine maritime territory that China is trying to steal.

  • Philippines condemns Chinese 'floating barrier' in South China Sea
  • I wonder what the pro-CCP shills will say about this. As a PH resident their bullying tactics have been in display here for far too long, as well as their disregard for internationally-set maritime boundaries.

  • Nearly 500 smartphone brands have left the market since 2017
  • No idea why you're being downvoted but I agree. My non flagship android is more than adequate for my demands of it.

  • Sounds like this guy has more "limited value", maybe we should get rid of him instead?

  • [POLL] Do you use/require a headphone jack on your phone?
  • Yes, it goes well with my bluetooth/wired headphones, so even if the headphone's battery is low, I can still use it to listen to music.

  • lemm.ee plans for mitigating image upload abuse
    1. I understand that this would be a temporary measure, and I hope this gets revisited in the near future.
    2. Got to do what you have to do.
    3. same as 2
    4. I do not agree with invite-based registrations and would prefer other ways to limit sign ups such as what others have already suggested in this thread.
    5. This will be tricky, but if done correctly would be something I can support.
    6. Agreed.

Once again, thank you for this wonderful instance and I'm glad this is my home.

  • How many hours a day do you actually work?
  • My workload is inconsistent so it can range from like 1 hour of actual work to more than 6 hours.

  • Gamers. What was the game that got you into the hobby?
  • I'm not a gamer per se, just a casual, but Rome: Total War (the original one with the Barbarian Invasion Expansion, not the Rome 2 trash)

  • Do you see Black and Blue, or White and Gold?
  • Still white and gold even after all these years, though I did see blue and black once, but that was with the corner of my eye then.

  • Home sweet home
  • Home shit home

But yea, at least you know how clean your own toilet is and you can sit for hours on end with no one bothering you

  • Philippines accuses China of firing water cannons at its ships in South China Sea
  • They are a pain, but nowadays it's more subtle, and people have grown to accept America somehow. But China is just grating, showing blatant disregard to the autonomy of Philippines as a country. There are many good reasons for us to be distrustful of the CCP. They are claiming lands within our maritime borders and building structures that only benefit them and are a major security concern for us.

  • Philippines accuses China of firing water cannons at its ships in South China Sea
  • That's cool and all but as a resident of the Philippines, China has been a pain in the ass since forever.

What don't you like about the city of Baguio?

Since I already asked what your favorite things to do in Baguio are, I would also like your opinion on the things you don't like about this small city.

For me personally, I despise the traffic and there crowds of people, especially during weekends and holidays. But I do understand that's a part of being a city well known to local (and probably international) tourists and vacationers.

What are your favorite things to do in Baguio?

For anyone who has ever stayed or visited the City of Pines, what activities do you enjoy while being here?

I myself like getting around the city and finding places to eat lol.
