The deals seem better this year but why buy anything if I'll just play the same 3 games?
All three Dark Souls have very easy 100% achievements that boil down to seeing everything in the game more so than completing difficult challenges. There are one or two that are, admittedly, annoying. But it's not something stupid like "Finish the game in 10 hours!" or "kill every boss while staying level 1".
There are recognitions for finishing a playthrough without dying or using a bonfire in DS2, but that's for the crazy people. And aren't achievements in the traditional sense.
They never cared about being democratic.

The change I feel is mostly for balance. Since PvP only cared about your level pyromancies were freat for twinking. Also you didn't really have a way to gate how strong a pyromancer could be at any point of the game since the flame required souls and nothing else to upgrade.
If you like being overpowered, then yeah lol.
Pyromancy is not only very strong for straight damage, but also has strong support spells. Also requires no stats other than for slots.
Which is funny that it is included since I don't remember any other city builders requiring your police to evict people, crush protests and strikes.
Would you recommend, for a newcomer to this genre, this or Final fantasy tactics?

Enjoyed blasting through the campaign. Except where you notice they released the chapters later and the difficulty spikes are pretty bonkers if you ask me.
The way you build your character is also much more manageable compared to something like Path of Exile too, so that's a big plus for me.
