Grounded: Steam players no longer require a Microsoft Account to play multiplayer
  • It does. Or, did anyway. I have no idea now, cause I got the game before they took this out. I already knew my Microsoft login because I had just recently unsubbed from game pass, and that's part of the reason why I bought it on steam.

  • Grounded: Steam players no longer require a Microsoft Account to play multiplayer
  • I didn't realize when I got it that I needed to sign in to my Microsoft account to play multiplayer, which was the whole reason why I got it on steam. I played it before when it was on game pass, but I've since cancelled my subscription and I wanted to play the game.

  • What was the last song you had to press repeat on?
  • The Ogre by Gnome.

It's an 8 minute long almost instrumental badass song about the gnomes getting eaten by an ogre and cutting their way free. They have other great songs too like Wenceslas, Stinth Thy Clep, and Old Soul.

  • Rocksteady reportedly returns to Batman after Suicide Squad disaster [According to XboxEra co-founder Nick Shapeshal: "...I heard..."]
  • I saw a rumor online that said someone was trying to make a Wonder Woman game that used the nemesis system from Shadow of Mordor at one point.

That would've been fucking amazing. Imagine going through Tartarus or Hades, fighting demons and cyclopes and gorgons, eventually having to fight one or two gods as well, all with that crazy system.

  • My Headcanon For the Arkhamverse

So I've been playing through all the Arkham games lately, and I had an interesting thought about the whole Arkhamverse as a storyline.

I think the entire game series is based (loosely) on The Killing Joke story, with other major events, references, and storylines lifted from other Batman comics. I just think TKJ was used as a basis for the games' world.

We see Joker's beginning with his flashback at the end of Arkham Origins, which is almost identical to his TKJ origin, as well as him crippling Barbara in that flashback during Arkham Knight (right down to the clothes he's wearing). The overall dark tone of the games lend to this theory, as well as Joker being shown just how sadistic he can be.

    What do you think?

[SUGGESTION] Add a "Jump to Comments" Button

If it's at all possible. I just find it kind of annoying to have to scroll through super long posts just to get to the comments. Review threads for newly released games in some of the gaming communities are what prompted this idea lol.

Edit: what the hell is going on with that account that keeps spamming nonsense?

So I like to use Xbox controllers (doesn't matter if it's first- or third-party) because I like the layout, it's just comfortable to me. However I've noticed that on all my controllers in the past few years, the left thumb stick will start to "give out" over the course of a couple months. For instance I'll be pushing it forward all the way, but it won't register for some reason and my character will only move a little bit. Sometimes wiggling it a bit will fix it, sometimes it doesn't. And it's not like I'm squeezing the hell out of the controller or mashing the stick constantly; in fact it's made me try to be more delicate with my controllers, even though I'm just playing the games normally.

Is it just how controllers are, or am I just getting the shit end of the stick?

People Who Don't Wear Deodorant or Seemingly Bathe Regularly, Why?

Like, I travel around for work and I've met plenty of people from all backgrounds.

Why is there a demographic of people who don't seemingly bathe regularly, or at the very least wear something to cover up their BO? I could understand if it's an allergy, or even religious reasons (though the people I've met that smell bad are usually you're average American young adult man) but recently (like in the past week, recently) I've met a concerning number of people who don't seem to wear any kind of deodorant or possibly don't even bathe regularly; it's starting to become an issue for me, as I don't even want to interact with them when I can smell them walking up from 3+ feet away yet I need to for work.

Does anyone have any possible insight?
