I completely agree with the conditioning, but the crazier part is even if his base knew some horrible tapes were real, I don’t think they would care. It’s sunk cost fallacy at this point. There is nothing that will get people off the Trump train.
I’m nearly certain it is true that Russia has dirt on him. But serious question: what possible dirt on trump could even slightly alter his base in the United States? I’m not convinced anything could. They could have videos of him raping an entire kindergarten class and his cult wouldn’t care. So at this point, what power does Putin actually hold? Trump (in theory) could tell Putin to fuck off and that would be the end of it.
I think it’s admiration and not blackmail that keeps trump sucking Putin’s dick. I think Trump looks at Russia and wishes he could have the same unchecked power that Putin has and so he looks up to him.

Assuming you begin investing at the age of 20 and invest $554 per month for 45 years at a 6% growth rate, you would yield 1.4 million. Definitely not MILLIONS.
Smoking marijuana, has a Harris sign in their yard, and supports the “defund the police” movement. They would be there in under five minutes with guns blazing.
Regardless of how crooked and obvious of a big deal this is, absolutely nothing will be done about it. The time for consequence in America for politicians has passed.
The bridge is owned by Maryland, and they are also suing for the reconstruction of the bridge. This settlement was for the disaster recovery effort.
“The Commission vote approving publication of the final rule in the Federal Register was 3-2, with Commissioners Melissa Holyoak and Andrew N. Ferguson voting no.”
Any guesses on who voted no on this? If you guessed republicans, you would be correct! These are the two scumbags who voted no:
Honestly, how can you have a functioning brain and vote Republican on anything at this point. How is this political? Melissa claimed in her her dissenting statement the following:
“The likely unlawful character of the rule is compounded by the Majority’s race to cross the finish line. Why the rush? There is a simple explanation. Less than a month from election day, the Chair is hurrying to finish a rule that follows through on a campaign pledge made by the Chair’s favored presidential candidate.”
She was on one of the teams that did if I remember correctly. I believe they split up into three teams and developed algorithms independently from one another. What surprised everyone was when they came back, all three teams had more or less the same image. It’s been a while so I may be wrong on some details. But it wasn’t just her is my point.
Absolutely true. Minimum wage is in governmental control and needs to go up with the increased costs of goods and services. But as you mentioned, probably not happening in the states that need it most.
I agree. But it is misplaced as you allude to. It isn’t inflation that the government can fix as much as it’s price gouging from unchecked corporations. But I totally agree with people feeling this way. I just wish the media portrayed inflation properly and just admit it’s not really in control of politicians as much as we would like it to be. Especially with lobbying and the massive lack of regulation.
I agree. I think people are rightfully frustrated with the price of goods and services right now. But it’s really not in control of the government. It should be, but regulation is highly unlikely in our late stage capitalistic world. So I feel the media is portraying inflation as something that should be of concern this election. But it really isn’t. As you mentioned, freedom, the climate, project 2025 and others should be most important.
I don’t disagree. People are definitely hurting right now. But inflation is a general terms for the costs of goods and services. Much of the increase we saw from Covid was unchecked price gouging from corporations. It is not realistically in control of the president. Of course the government could regulate, and while they should, we all know that won’t happen on any scale that is needed. Therefore, believing that inflation is an important aspect to this election is misdirected anger over something that is in control of billionaires and massive corporations. I understand this misdirected aggression, but it’s a shame that people are focusing on that being the most important thing this November. To me, it’s avoiding fascism and project 2025.
I meant how bad the media claims it is. Thus people are treating it as a major concern of this election.
Quick reminder that the current inflation rate is at 2.04% (https://www.nbcnews.com/business/economy/federal-reserve-may-pretty-much-just-hit-2-inflation-target-rcna175099). It goes to show how well the media does with propaganda on how bad inflation is right now. Inflation isn’t even in the top ten of my election concerns.
Thank you for the info! My friend called and you are correct. I edited the post to reflect this information!

Thanks for this information. I alerted my friend. I’ll update the post if you are correct.
Excellent point. I alerted my friend to your post. I don’t have the envelope, they just sent me the picture. They go to bed early but I’ll update you in the morning.
My friend reported it to the election board, but doesn’t want to report it to the news. I can’t make him and I don’t live in Virginia. If anyone wants to share this, my friend nor I will be opposed.
EDIT: See @AnimePhantasm comment below! My friend called the election board and they confirmed what @AnimePhantasm and @fmstrat commented! This was Virginia reusing last year’s envelopes.
OP I am an absentee voter in Blacksburg just next door. Shine a light on the blacked out part. I am 99% sure this is legit, they just crossed out the witness requirement. I can see the word witness under the sharpie in your picture. Virgina doesnt have to do that witness thing anymore. We did at the last general election, so I am guessing they just reused the same envelopes. You should call and ask your elections office before alerting the news. They are hardworking folks whose jobs are already 100 times harder then they used to be. Stirring up reports of election fraud where it isn't happening makes us just as bad as them.
I have a 40 lb Samoyed who is a specific type of aggressive chewer. It isn’t so much she destroys any toy I give her because of how hard she chews, but rather she is like a sniper. She finds the weak point in a toy and carefully chews it until the toy is destroyed. I had to stop giving her stuffed toys as she stripes the fur off of them and eats it. While nylon bones work, she will go through them in a few days. And I don’t want to give her toys so hard they will wreck her teeth.
The problem is when I go to pet stores, all the toys labeled for “aggressive chewers”, she finds the weak spot and destroys the toy within one day (sometimes within an hour).
I just recently got a tuffy ring and I was hopeful but she is chewing the ends and eating the fabric off of it.
Does anyone else have a dog like this and if so, what toys have worked for you?

These are just polls, so vote!
Hopefully these trends will inspire people in states that have been consistently red that a flip this election is possible!
