Resorption (sometimes? always?) happens for reasons unrelated to tooth brushing, plaque, tooth decay, etc. I had a tooth extracted a year ago to the day (yes, on Valentines day) that my dentist assured me was not due to decay and had nothing to do with how often I brushed my teeth.

COVID can do it. Physical trauma can do it. And it can happen idiopathically.

To be clear, it's sound advice to brush your teeth regularly. But you won't necessarily prevent what happened to OP's tooth (or mine) by brushing, flossing, or any other particular oral hygeine regimen.

I always liked rtorrent back in the day. It was a looooong time ago that I last used it, though. I'm not sure if it supports magnets, or that it's even still maintained.

I can think of specific instances where I've done each of these roles in my software engineering job:

• Tech support
• Sysadmin
• DevOps
• QA (oh do I have a story about this one)
• Management
• Release management
• Agile coach
• Security engineer/pen tester
• Compliance
• Custodian

As well as customer relations. I don't know that I've ever done much product management, though.

Ok, I'll be the first to ask.

• Does your phobia of nudity extend to others being nude? If so, does that include people not in person? (People you're on the phone with or texting with? Recordings or photographs of strangers in the nude like artistic nudes and such?)
• Do you consider yourself to be on the asexual spectrum?
• Do you bathe/shower regularly?

You're a wonderful, valid, entire person who can't be well described by just this one thing. But it's interesting to get a peek into what's unique and different about folks' internal experience of the world. Also, don't feel like you have to answer anything you don't want to.

Legally, at least in the U.S. (though I hear not in Japan?), if you're sued on a defamation case (slander or libel), if you can prove that what you said was true, that's an ironclad defense.

I think it's fair to say that you can't necessarily know if something you've said about something was ethically acceptable until it's certain whether what you said was true or not. If you say something about someone that you aren't 100% sure is true, then whether it's ok for you to have said that can't really be known until the truth or falsehood of the assertion is certain.
