Ehhhh......grubhub isn't THAT fast!

I have a feeling that people will downvote you, because on the surface it SOUNDS like you're defending tesla.

However, I'd like to point out AI doesn't give a shit about accuracy or context, or being right.

AI can reaffirm your already held beliefs, and still be bad for doing so. Because if you let yourself be led by self reaffirming beliefs, how is it any different than people who watch fox news and say "Yeah! All the people I already hate ARE the source of my problems! Even the TV says so!"

If NPR or BBC or any other news outlet just started reporting "trump bad! Other people good!" but it was based on an AI overview that viewers leaned a certain way, and therefore would be profitable to slant news that way, then you aren't getting news. You're getting artificial opinion pieces written by a computer.

Now, that being said, even human news outlets slant their stories. So the issue isn't exclusively with AI. Real journalism is dead and has been dead for decades.

The point I'm making is, just because the story says "tesla bad!" and we all hate tesla, doesn't make this story legitimate journalism. Even if the story and facts presented are true.

And I think most people will not grasp that concept, and downvote you.

Growing up, my dad had this whole attitude where he's god in his house. And since I'm 7 years old, my opinions don't matter.

Well. He didn't just treat me like that. That's who he is. Nobody wants to be around him. His wife left him. He has no friends. His mom died, because she was 103 (lovely woman, and actually my hero in life). His sister died (cancer). His other sister moved to florida after her husband died, but my dad just yells at her anytime they talk, so she doesn't call him anymore.

His other sister takes after their mom, and is therefore a saint of a woman. He yells at her everytime she calls, and somehow she still drives him around town. She still takes care of him. She does waaaaaay more than I would.

As for me? I'm the one he tormented the worst. My mom delt with his shit for 7 years. She could (and did) leave him. I couldn't. I was a kid.

Now I'm in my 40s. I remember as a kid thinking when I was older I would laugh and push him down when he got old. But in reality, I just feel this weird mix of feeling sorry for him, and feeling triumphant over him. He's only 75ish, yet his body is so broken down it's like he's 90. He lives alone in a rat infested house because he won't let anyone help him.

This is what always being right looks like.

Straight guy here....how big is ACTUALLY average? I've never seen another dudes dick, besides porn. And those guys make 10 inches seem average. But I also know porn is fake bullshit.

I've heard women say 6 inches is average....but then I also hear them talk as if 6 inches is too small.

Thats an outdated term which was eventually used by a VHS rental store after the term was outdated. And NOW, the VHS rental store is outdated. Maybe in 30 years there will be a post "TIL people used to rent VHS tapes as their primary source for watching movies at home. It was called Blockbuster!"

I'm dating a new girl, and thought it would be fun to play a few games with her as a fun date night activity. Games like "truth or fear" and "would you rather". I bought both of those games at target. They had another game, and I thought "Well, if the date goes well.....". It's called "Date night. A sexy game for couples".

So I'm buying these 3 games, and a handful of unrelated things. And after each purchase she scans, she's like "Oh, cherries! I love cherries! Oh, a dog leash! I love dogs!"

Well eventually she gets to the date night game, and she just gives me this dirty stare. She's in her 60s, and you can just tell she's been a lonely cat lady for at least 30 of them.

She just said "Oh.....well SOMEONE is going to have fun TONIGHT!!!" in this angry tone.
