  • yeah, lemmy.world is a good starter server

I agree with you, I ditched it when they started blocking the piracy communities though... I am unsure if they undo that movement as of now...

  • Why? You can block instances from the user side, why bother if the main instance is federated with them?

  • I don't foresee the Fediverse welcoming the bots just as Reddit, Meta and Twitter do though... Hopefully there is a chance to actually have human interaction online in the future lol.

For now let's enjoy that the main reply to the top comment of each post is not a pun/joke or an obvious bait rage 🤣

  • I wanted to keep using Sync for Reddit and or Boost for Reddit, both clients were built for Lemmy now (as of this message Sync is quite broken though).

Even when I can keep using Sync for Reddit patched with Revanced I truly enjoy using clients such as Voyager (I missed Apollo a lot when I went from iOS to Android) and Summit, Eternity is a good alternative too.

IMHO Summit stands the best because it is the smoothest and behaves almost as good as Sync for Reddit did in its prime.

  • I came over with everyone else in the big exodus wave from Reddit when they killed third party apps.

Heh, and they say the exodus/protest were pointless 🤣

  • Interesting topic, funnily enough I watched a spanish YouTube video talking about that recently.

Here is an AI briefing of the titles mentioned:

Here are the 10 video games listed in the video:

    • Piglet's Big Game
    • Rugrats: Search for Reptar
    • Majora's Mask
    • Trauma Center: Under the Knife
    • Hello Neighbor
    • Earthbound
    • Hat in Time
    • Heart of Darkness
    • FIFA
    • Monster House The video also mentions other games that were suggested by viewers in the comments, such as:
    • Drone to Life
    • Ratchet and Clank
    • 4ty Wings
    • Evil Twin The video discusses how these games, despite appearing to be suitable for children, contain themes or elements that may be too mature or disturbing for younger audiences. These include:
    • Piglet's Big Game: Contains unsettling imagery and music reminiscent of Silent Hill.
    • Rugrats: Search for Reptar: Features scenes with ghosts and creepy toys.
    • Majora's Mask: Contains dark themes and unsettling imagery, such as Link wearing a mask and encountering disturbing enemies.
    • Trauma Center: Under the Knife: Deals with serious medical issues, including a deadly pandemic and the death of loved ones.
    • Hello Neighbor: Reveals a tragic backstory for the titular neighbor, including the deaths of his wife and child.
    • Earthbound: Contains disturbing imagery and themes, such as child abuse and religious cults.
    • Hat in Time: Features a creepy mansion level with unsettling music and jump scares.
    • Heart of Darkness: Contains graphic depictions of death and is extremely difficult, which may frustrate younger players.
    • FIFA: Contains microtransactions and gambling elements, despite being rated for all ages.
    • Monster House: Based on a film with a dark and unsettling atmosphere. The video also discusses the issue of age ratings and how some games may not be accurately rated for their content. It highlights the importance of parents being aware of the content of games their children are playing.
  • If you play on PC maybe there is a mod that changes his voice, IDK dude, PC modders are crazy 😂

  • I am currently playing ORAS, BOTW and Rayman Legends, after finishing at least one of them I'll start with Metroid Zero Mission for once, to break that nightmare deal I did to myself of not playing more metroidvanias until I get to finish Super Metroid and SOTN!

  • TIL somebody is able to hate Geralt's voice.

  • I definitely need to read more about this... I (kinda) compare BG3 with The Witcher 3, and I would have enjoyed playing TW3 a lot with my gf for sure! (Not sure if she would like the whole run though).

  • but it had no problems getting certified by Sony.

The thing is, I have heard this title and Wukong don't run that well in the PS5, or at least that is what I have read in online sites... I am not sure if that is true, or it is only PC gamers being noisy about it.

  • I forgot about that, already done it 😅

It was quite hard yeah, but I am not willing to repeat all that with a higher difficulty 🤣

  • A good bonus is that if you play, and get good at, this game - you can then move on to other, parry-based titles (like Sekiro) and they'll feel like a walk in the park.

Well, this is the best thing I have heard this year (please spare the dad joke...).

I definitely enjoyed Sifu, I didn't play it in hard difficulty but normal and still busted my ass for completing it... I did try to finish it with 20 years (I think it is the younger he can be?) and it was hard as balls... I achieved that up to the last boss, I couldn't beat him without him killing me once, or twice I can't recall, regardless I am very proud of my achievement.

  • BG3 has a split screen!?

I have heard it doesn't run quite well on PS5... Now I wonder if this mode is available there and if it is better or worse lol.

  • Can't you run normal iOS apps on VR?

  • My Poco F2 Pro doesn't have it clearly visible either... You can look for it with apps like the Hidden Settings app though.

I swear this feature is not hidden in other MIUI ROMs...

  • then figure out what it actually needs.

    It needs tracking to work.

Also, I hardly see my non tech relatives following your advice 🤣

  • Who cares about the GOTY?

    I'd say Chinese people don't.

  • Except that such an extra step is way better in quality and streaming speeds, compared to streaming sites, if you care about this or 1080p/4K high bitrate media.

As a matter of fact, since you can stream and also download torrents with a debrid service, I'd say paying a cheap seedbox (debrid services are cheap as well) is torrenting with extra steps... Without the ability to stream.
