For games built with and to some degree around cooperative gameplay, people aren't very good at being helpful to each other in discussions about the games.

That's why I don't participate in any of the online communities and just play with no headset. I'll help people defeat bosses because I have a great time doing it. Outside of that I find the community kinda off putting.

Edited to add - not all folks in the fromsoft communities are elitist, some are actually very kind, but there's just enough weird elitism that I find it to be unpleasant.

Unfortunately you are right on this one. They couldn't even get Equal Rights Ammendment passed and it was proposed in 1923. It got tossed around and talked about and got close to being ratified over the past century but ultimately didnt make it through.

Then in 2019 Alabama, Louisiana and South Dakota actually sued to prevent ERA from bring ratified when it was brought up again. That's how much some states hate progress.

It'll be interesting to see how this one plays out though. Will they kill it immediately or will it sit around in limbo for a century?

I agree on this one. The Supreme Court is clearly compromised and needs to be thouroughly investigated for corruption and have their recent, self interest driven rulings revoked.

I think it's probably more simple than that. Trump is jealous that Putin has his own country and he doesn't. In Trump's mind he's the best so he also needs to own an entire country just so he can outdo Putin.

He's probably working with putin to achieve this goal, and the details we can speculate about, but the motivation is likely that petty.

The Supreme Court members who outed themselves as pro-corruption need to be given the 'Vote of No Confidence" treatment. Not just Kavanaugh, Alito, and Thomas, also remove the ones who quietly voted for post action bribes to be legal.
