How will this work with the younger generations being majority non-white
In the US for the local primary, I did a lot of canvasing and 'illegal immigrants are sucking up all the money' is a belief held not just by white Anglos. A significant number of black people and even some Latin people expressed this belief. This is anecdotal of course, but there's a trend toward cross-racial 'nativism' and xenophobia that's growing.
Solidarity, comrade.
I was waiting for a bus the other day. It pulled up to the busy platform, but no one would know it because the driver had the "not in service" sign on and a closed door.
After a few minutes, it pulled away and got past the stop light, only then did the driver turned on the sign indicating their route.
Superdelegates are the minority of overall delegates. They could easily tip the scales in a contested primary. But Biden had an overwhelming number of the regular delegates committed to him since he was the only candidate.
Makes me wonder if anyone is kicking themselves for not running against him in the primary

When I was young, we had to go to our friends' houses to watch someone else play video game.
I like Draper's 1967 essay Who’s going to be the lesser-evil in 1968? but I think its dated references can be alienating to some people (even though the datedness of it kinda reinforces its argument).
DSA has major problems. However, in its defense, I'll quote myself from another comment in this thread:
In contrast to my perception of CPUSA, DSA hasn't devolved into false demcent (i.e. "bureaucratic centralism"). While DSA has big problems (and needs more centralism), it does actually have sufficient internal democracy necessary to engage in two line struggle, because of that it has the potential (however small) to build consensus among the US left cross-tendency.
You cite actions taken by significant elements of DSA that are bad. I agree this is concerning. However, structurally DSA has greater capacity to critique this due to its internal democracy (which still needs improvement). I'm not sure any other left formations in the US have this capacity developed to the same level.

how do you manage to be on the Right of the DSA??
One of DSA's co-chairs (highest elected leaders of the org) is a member of the caucus that wrote the "Do you commend Hamas?" article.
Iirc, as far back Mtw2 they swapped parts of models to create 'unique" soldiers in armies. Is that procedural generation?
idk, but iirc some really deadly earthquakes have been due to mass cave homes
I've always wanted to test what would happen to a firm that just tries not having a CEO. I think a lot of companies' bureaucracy would hum a long just fine

I doubt there's really a way to know either way unless Yemen hit so hard it was seriously compromised.
The Yemeni armed forces announced on Friday that they targeted the USS Eisenhower aircraft carrier in the Red Sea.
>“In response to these crimes … the missile force and the naval force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a joint military operation targeting the American aircraft carrier Eisenhower in the Red Sea,” the movement’s military spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree said.
>“The operation was carried out with a number of winged and ballistic missiles, and the hit was accurate and direct,” he added.
He's probably drunk the Kool aid and thinks Taiwan people don't speak Chinese but a totally different indigenous language
Maybe I'm being a vulgar materialist but wouldn't the 4b movement be superstructural development (that is now affecting the base) emerging from the mode of production?
State media hasn't implied anything. I'm sure they'll investigate. But helicopters crashing in terrible weather conditions isn't unusual. I'd put my money on accident unless some compelling evidence is forthcoming.
Critical support to the DPP against Taiwan's bourgeois democracy.
France issued an arrest warrant on Tuesday for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad alleging the use of banned chemical weapons against civilians in Syria, a judicial source told CNN on Wednesday.
Can the Assad curse affect a whole country? !france-cool
I figure with the possibility of the wars heating up, now would a good time to prepare lit/resources to demoralize military memebers and give advice on how to get out early.
Any one got any materials or links related to this?
Edit: found this which might be useful for legal avenues of quitting early
After over four decades as a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, one of the group’s founding members is leaving in sorrow and anger.
This vibes anecdotally with my local chapter. In the face of overwhelming membership solidarity with Palestinian liberation, the social imperialist reactionaries are purging themselves.
Hamas fighters likely fired North Korean weapons during their Oct. 7 assault on Israel, a militant video and weapons seized by Israel show, despite Pyongyang’s denials that it arms the militant group.
>“North Korea has long supported Palestinian militant groups, and North Korean arms have previously been documented amongst interdicted supplies,” Jenzen-Jones told the AP.
Despite far superior military capabilities, Israel could find itself trapped in Gaza.
InshAllah
Is "hang someone" an idiom in French? Or is he based and literally calling for the execution of a pig?
