The "Night of Long Knives: America Edition" will be more hilarious than tragic, and might actually help the world a miniscule amount.
Ah, yes, plenty of time to reverse the decision before a single penny is spent!
Please. I can't go through that again.
I'm in a similar boat with some friends. I had to take a day off work to process this all and just try to fucking grill for just a little bit.
Never again...
This has been the Dems MO since Reagan won in '84.
They only win because of backlash against the obviously horrible policies of Republicans, and I am predicting that (if America still has elections 4 years from now) that if the Dems keep moving right we will be in a constant back and forth of a disastrously bad Republican messing everything up, so any Dem can swoop in and win, but after the Democrats 4 years of maintaining the disastrous Republican Party, the collective memories of Americans will forget who put them in this bad situation to begin with and vote for a Republican.
Until the Democrats finally admit that there is not enough moderates in this country to maintain electoral power, and begin wooing the left in actually meaningful ways, will they have a chance at the regaining the power they had in the FDR era.
I can't believe My Femboy Roommate went woke. Now we're seeing it go broke.
Hexbear is Chapo.chat
It's the original name.
IDK if it's the biological warfare bit or if you recognize me as the F-Tier Hexbear celebrity for modding this site in the Chapo.chat days.
In this case she got exactly what she deserved, probably.
When Ronald Reagan won in the 80's I knew I could never even smile at a leftist or else Democrats would never win the presidential election ever again
Actually that battle has been pretty easy, it pretending that I agree with leftist on anything is the hard bit. Grinds my gears that I have to have them vote for me, while also not offering anything they want to vote for, just things they want to vote against.
This is as nothing burger as it gets.
Like the gum stuff was the worst thing, and I agree... Gang, even when screwing over landlords spitting out gum onto the ground is just unsanitary and gross.
But that's like local chat with the gals level news, not international news.
My only hope is that as more boomers and genx'ers see the millons in inheritance that was stolen from them, will they stop supporting either party.
But I don't put it past most Republicans to double down.
"My papi unknowingly paid Trump $2million and I know he would want me to do the same!"
Gotta love that "Every Dem is basically Ronald Reagan at this point" feeling!
Ratchet theory of American Politics strikes again.
In that 3 weeks Kamala could do something cool, and it would have Presidential immunity, but we all know that a Dem would be too chicken shit to ever wield that power.
Asking clemency from a man who climbed the prosperity ladder and then made it illegal for anyone else to climb the ladder the same way he did.
Is it Big Za/Um?
A billboard paid for by a Wyoming county sheriff's office was unveiled in Denver, Colorado, during Police Week with a controversial message for police officers.
>Kozak was referring to budget cuts that city council members proposed in April, which would cut Denver's public safety budget by $8.4 million — about 1.9% of the police force's funds.
Oh no a small crumb of the budget is gone! With only 434 MILLION dollars instead of 442 million dollars what nefarious crimes will go unsolved by Denver County?
>He said in a post on social media the cuts restricted the ability of cops to enforce traffic laws such as expired plates and safety equipment violations.
Well let's see how Denver clapped back at this slight!
>Denver Police also took issue with the Laramie County sheriff's message.
Hell yeah!
>"A primary advantage for working for Denver Police versus the Laramie County Sheriff's Office is that the top pay for the officer rank is $24,575 more annually than the top pay for a LCSO deputy sheriff, and the pay gap increases at higher ranks," Denver Police said in a statement. "And being a much larger department, Denver Police officers have significantly greater opportunities to promote."
I fucking hate it here, and still simultaneously believe Colorado is the best fucking state. The reason so many Feds are out here is the next time a Miners war breaks out in the Rockies, will be an insurgency that will never be broken, as nuking Colorado means nuking Americas water.
El Paso County will be challenging Colorado House Bill 19-1124 and 23-1100, prohibiting local governments from cooperating with the federal government in immigration matters.
It's fucking ridiculous how the party of states rights also includes a states right to support counties in enforcing their will on everyone not in their state.
Goddamn Texans always ruining Colorado and telling us it's the Californians fault.
Shout out to the old man outside my local pinball brewery that said "Hold the door for this young lady!"
Anyways unrelated picture of my dog and Blåhaj.
Individuals with varying degrees of borderline personality disorder symptoms exhibit distinct music preferences, according to new research published in Psychology of Music.
All I could think about is how Ben Sharpio constantly whines that no one makes classic music anymore and that rap isn't real music.
Literally the article is barely about the graffiti sign, basically: "Sign graffiti bad, maybe make exhibit about anti-Semitism during the Holocaust against Palestinians! Anyways here's this story about two probably cool dudes who fought the Nazis and opened this library. What does it have to do with the graffiti? anti-Semitism duh!"
Or maybe the graffiti artist was making a point that the Holocaust library probably will need an Exhibit on Gaza soo, too? That sure would have been a nice thing for the author to explore instead of copy and pasting an article straight from wikipedia, basically.
