It can also skew one’s perspective on the world to know an immense amount about one specific field. When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
- We would all do well to understand our biases.
Also it gives the uneducated the opportunity to associate education with evil.
- One of my biggest gripes with Lemmy is that some see a conspiracy in a very single thing in existence
  
  Doesn't have to be a conspiracy to have that effect or reflect that view
  
  It's almost too much of a coincidence
