I don't want to be a bother to anyone. But if anyone asks me I will gladly help and not think of them as a bother. I don't know why I can't, in the moment, realize others most likely feel the same. Must be a self esteem thing.
39 0 ReplyYou are not the only one who feels this way.
12 0 ReplyI concur

I'm actually this kind of person, and sometimes I wish I had asked others for help.
I feel like I never actually helped anyone so I do not deserve anything.
17 0 Replyhave you ever thought about volunteering anywhere? that could be a good place to get started helping people.

Reminds me of an old Jewish mother joke.
How many Jewish mothers does it take to change a lightbulb?

I just hung 4 shelves in my garage. 2 were 8ft long, and 2 were 10ft long. I’m proud to have done it by myself
3 0 ReplyThat's awesome! There's a home improvement comm around here somewhere that seems to have a lot of DIYers.

I did an entire move once using an office chair like this. Fortunately both apartments were in the same complex.
3 0 ReplyShould've asked the maintenance guy to use his dolly. Most are pretty cool about stuff like that.
