Dude this doesn't surprise me. I was trying to find out what the technical terms were for the types of "stones" that are in my fireplace so I could replace a broke one and holy cow, there's no way. That's not brick you MFR! It might be garbage "cultured stone" where they grind up perfectly good stone, add a bunch of cement and form it in the shape of a proper stone veneer.
