Don't understand why anyone even wants this underpowered, overpriced, uninspiring piece of shit. If mobile gaming is that important to you, just get a Steam Deck and install the inevitable Switch 2 emulator on it.
It has the Nintendo logo on it.
Idk why people seem to be personally offended by other people wanting something
*insert stop having fun meme
The Switch 2 is more powerful than the Steam Deck... For now.
I do hope Valve can count higher than three with the Deck...
slightly more powerful and in return it can't play all the games and you have to pay for online play, lol
They're at 1.5, I wouldn't hold my breath.
Seems more to me like they're gonna get the ball rolling then rely on 3rd parties making the consoles.
Like they'd rather do what Android did and get their OS on as many different types of hardware possible rather than locking you into buying only their hardware.
That's how it looks to me, anyway.
I love the Steam Deck, but if competition comes along and makes something with better hardware and repairability then we all benefit in the end, and Valve benefits even moreso if that new thing comes with SteamOS.
Are you sure about that? After seeing the specs of the Switch 2, I'm convinced that Nintendo put the weakest hardware they possibly could get away with putting in a modern gaming device. I mean Nintendo literally lied and said that it could run games at 120 FPS, when a 4090 can't even do that with literally 10x more CUDA cores.
I mean I believe you, but are you certain that it's actually more powerful than a Steam Deck? Regardless, it doesn't matter because Steam Deck 2 is on the way. Just buy that one when it comes out (or stick to desktop gaming like me if you don't need to game on the go.) Nobody needs a Switch 2.
Bro got the Switch 2 drop but he didn't even pick up that Knife of Slashing +3. What a noob.
He also dropped other perks you can try to pick up, if you have enough inventory place left.
Bro probably spent hours grinding before that drop
Is GTA on Switch?
That's a lot of effort put into getting a console with little value. Maybe wait till after it's hacked in... Oh... Like three years or something.
I mean the easiest switch to hack is the release day switch. And this is a pretty common pattern across all consoles including playstation and xbox. Generally the earlier hardware+earlier firmware will give you the best chance.
Yes, that's why some over at GBATemp aren't updating their switch and poking at it. But it'll still take a while, and "while" is measured in years usually.
There's a good chance that those with banned switches will be more motivated to find vulnerabilities in the system. Or give their banned switches to those that like finding vulnerabilities.
Also, just because some vulnerabilities are found, doesn't mean that piracy is a guarantee; there was some drama with the 3DS, and then later with the Switch 1, with the people who found vulnerabilities and built hacks not wanting their work to be used for piracy. Piracy only started becoming a thing, then, when other parties replicated (or surpassed) the original hacks and made it available for piracy. This caused some of the hackers to to leave (I think one of them was RXTools. Luma3D far surpassed RXTools).
Yeah imma wait until Ryujinx 2 comes out lol
Probably won't ever get a Ryujinx 2. I'd keep an eye out on Torzu.
However, the system will have to be hacked and decrypted first, but as of right now no real vulnerability has been discovered.
Haven't checked since launch, is it still hard to find?
Just picked one up from gamestop, and it was the only one available from any store within the last two weeks in a 50 mile radius.
Sounds like I'll still be waiting then, thanks.
The systems weren't hard to find on day 1. The overpriced accessories were all sold out, though.
It's as easy as taking a switch 2 from a baby!
...exactly like that as a matter of fact.
Didn't work out well for Mr. Burns.
Fucker even had a sword on him
