You know what? Us Canadians are going to drive that orange chump into the dirt.

And the rest of the world is signing on for it. We've had enough of "Muricans" giving orders. Let's all take these arrogant bastards down

  • One man suffering from dementia says some stupid stuff and breaks a trade agreement: we turn on our closest ally. Not just financially, but emotionally and culturally.

India and China literally murder our citizens, even on our own land, meddle in our elections, operate extra-jurisdictional government sites and agents in our territory, and we're like, hey you guys, wanna be our new best friend?

Trump is a shock and we're getting shock doct'd.

    • And nobody pushes back against the demented pants-shitter. What does that say about Americans? Hell, the opposition "leaders" might as well not even be there. Currently the only fight I've seen is from backbench progressives that the rest of the DNC try to minimize at every turn, and grassroots protestors ignored by said leaders.

There's a lot of complicity in ruining that country and flinging their feces across the rest of the world going on.

We're supposed to trust they'll get their house in order and stay fast with them? You can count on the US doing the right thing, but only after they've tried everything else.

  • Fuck us up. I wish we could stop him ourselves but systems that can't self-correct must be recreated by a higher consciousness

  • International reaction is slow on actual retaliations. Europe failing to announce aggressive specific measures on Monday will be a bad sign. Absolute shameful disgrace for them to commit further to US empire's Ukraine/Russia mission, even as Macron said some stern words against tariffs.

Other than China, Carney is only one to impose tariffs on US. Low hanging fruit that directly benefits Canadians and other colonies is to publicly cancel F35 purchases, and other US weapon systems. There is an impression that they are privately paused, but that is simply not as strong as either a public pause or cancellation.

Boeing, Catterpillar, and Deere all have international competition and are easy to destroy through global boycotts or high tariffs. China retaliation has effectively killed the US's largest energy export market, and Europe needs to tariff or price cap US energy. Europe needs to pull off bandaid of begging for US leadership. It will be a much longer process of deposing US agents in their rulership if they continue treachery against their people.

Obviously also, the tariffs are a major attack against US companies, and the broad ownership of them throughout US society. Even if EU traitors lick the diaper, those US interests will pressure WH. Shelves will be empty as businesses wait for tariff cancellation before ordering new product. In Soviet US, there were no breadlines, but the avocado and toaster rations were insufficient to satisfy the avocado toast fad.
