"Deporting immigrants without criminal convictions to El Salvador to be imprisoned, without letting them challenge the deportation in court" is how the thing is phrased.
It does not mean 60% of Americans oppose sending immigrants without convictions to El Salvadorian labor camps. It means they oppose it without a hearing. It could be that only 30% oppose the thing you are saying if they got a hearing first.

What a lovely demcracy because like a lot of very reasonable things like healthcare that the majority want this will not be listened to.
I think that number is actually a lot lower.
Strange wording, how many of them would stop opposing this particular scenario, but be ok if the migrants were lets's say killed on spot or send to prison slavery in US or maybe still Salvadorean prison, but just after conviction?
Too bad a majority of Americans are superficial POS and belong in migrant camps.
