  • My teenage son told me he wouldn't watch it even if i put it on my jellyfin server. I told him i wouldn't waste my ratio on it so we were both on the same page at least.

    He mentioned something about being tired of watching Jack Black in anything, but the movie was still terrible even if Steve was played by someone else.

    The kids are gonna be just fine.

      • To be fair we thought Zoomers would too but they just ended up moving to different forms of slop

      • Its interesting watching the first fully born-in-the-internet generations and the things they come uo with.

        Every generation of youth rebels against their parents/grownups, norms, and the like. But i think this generation of kids, the alphas, is fully fucking different than any other generation of youthful rebellion. Alphas gonna get real weird with it and im fucking here for it.

        On its face, its shit as simple as memes, but as complex as suddenly nearly every single human being alive on the planet earth at this very moment being able to converse with each other.

        Human nature, or whatever, never planned on every single one of us being able to shitpost all at once.

    • Jack Black trying to be the video game guy is really annoying. Like sure he was fine as Bowser but in the tradition of capitalism milking everything to death we now have to put up with every video game movie featuring Jack Black or some other Gen X comedian (Not shitting on gen X or anything I'm just saying it's the milking of a trend to death that's the annoying part)

  • I won't watch it unless notch is in it and he's a big bloated floating head in the sky that blows out toxic vape smoke the heroes need to run from.
