President-elect Donald Trump says Elon Musk and former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will lead a new “Department of Government Efficiency.”
…which is not, despite the name, a government agency.

It will sound like a government agency is providing recommendations, but in truth it's whatever Elon says.
It won't have government employees or have to follow government rules. It's just an expensive government contractor with no rules. It won't have to prove itself. Just "the algorithm" that has the answer to any problem. How did it arrive at that answer? Difficult to say, it's proprietary. Assuming any accountability, it won't be uncovered until years after the decision has already been made.
I'm so torn right now, debating on whether or not to uproot my life and move to the EU so I can get away from this insanity and watch the country burn from the sidelines, or stick around and see if enough of us can collectively get our asses in gear and steer this ship out of the shitstorm we're now driving into.
