Sony boss admits forcing PC gamers into PlayStation accounts can "invite pushback," but insists they have to keep games safe – which doesn't really track in single-player
The CEO explanation is why I haven't purchased any Sony games since Helldivers 2. The first time they were greedy with customer data was enough to know that one of the most hacked companies in the world isn't concerned with the safety of others. They want all that juicy usage data and are losing money by not having a team compile the insights and selling it by the first weeks after launch.
Fuck the boss, man. When have they known shit? Gotta stop asking em things like we don't know the answer. I'd be interested in the opinion of one of the devs maybe, but never the ceo. They're as useless and predictable as a magic 8 ball
Yeah what i mean is it's stupid to ask people who don't care about the product or the consumer, "why?". This is an anti-consumer move clearly designed to make the ceo more money. So why even ask? Unnecessary. Asking them is begging them to lie to your face.
"WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN DO YOU WANT THE TERRORISTS TO WIN?? Now shut up and give us your private data and let us control your access to 'your' games."
I will never buy a playstation product. Even sony I avoid at all costs because of how they run playstation, and I spent 20k on canon camera equipment to avoid their photography equipment, which is arguably better.
