- Seemed early to switch to slicks. Don't know who made the decision.

Do sky have special sources from the teams¿? The f1tv commentary still aren't confirming that max has damage. How are sky so sure¿?
- There was a clear camera shot of a chip missing from the front of one of the fins on the underside of the floor.
- Journalists are in Whatsapp broadcast groups handled by the teams. RBR press officer sent a message into his group confirming the floor damage.
  
  Not just a Sky thing, quite a few F1 journos are in those groups.

Is Redbull allowed repair (replace) the floor before the race?
- I think you're allowed to repair/swap components as long as they're identical spec. No setup changes, but they should be able to put in a new one.
  
  I think that is all at the stewards discretion.
- Short answer is yes, with identical parts otherwise it's a grid drop or pitlane start depending on what is changed and why.

  No, actually. After the post-qualification inspections, teams can replace damaged parts like-for-like with parts that are undamaged.
  
  No you can replace a damaged part as long the replacement part is the exact same spec
  
  Damage is often allowed to be repaired without breaking parc ferme. I just don't know the limits.
Well now both Red Bull drivers have gone through the gravel. At least Max got back on the track

Merc PU is working really well at Silverstone.
Should be a very exciting quali in these conditions.
So what are we predicting today? I think the Red Bulls, the ones not in the gravel that is, will do very well at this circuit, so I think VER will get pole, with the McLarens right behind.
