Aber das Programm bedient halt einige Ausländerthemen, Dinge die für Millionen in diesem Land wichtig sind. Und die Tagesschau muss daraus erstmal einen „was haben diese Muselmanen nun vor?“ Artikel machen, wo alle gängigen Vorurteile über DEN muslimischen Migranten bedient werden. Es gibt durchaus Dinge zu hinterfragen und nur, weil es viele Muslime gibt, heißt das nicht, dass wir die Vision dieser Leute teilen.

I find it very cynical to question such a well documented, systemic abuse that has been going on for decades. You can easily find before/after pictures of Palestinian detainees. There’s really no need to make up or exaggerate anything when reality „does the job“ well enough.

Our media narrative and political communication are incredibly biased towards the Israeli take, we have 100,000s of Palestinian citizens and millions of Muslim citizens whose voices we ignore. We actively cancel funding for peace activists and silence even Jewish Israelis who are anti-Zionist. We still deliver weapons to Israel and now also deny funding for innocent civilians starving & freezing to death. Jau UNRWA hat 13.000 Mitarbeiter. 12 wurden beschuldigt und umgehend suspendiert. Im Gazastreifen leidet quasi jeder der 2.3 Millionen Menschen mittlerweile unter der Hungersnot, die meisten Menschen wurden intern vertrieben, viele sind in der Kälte obdachlos oder schlafen in überfluteten Zelten.

Soll ich da mal die Mathe machen? Wegen 12/13000 die sogar suspendiert sind bestraft man nun kollektiv 2.3 Millionen Menschen. Ich bin nur noch fassungslos und wünsche mir, dass nicht nur die israelische Regierung sondern auch Biden, Blinken, Sunak, Scholz, Baerbock und co. mit auf der Anklagebank landen.

Dass das tatsächlich passiert und man ihnen mit der selben Zielstrebigkeit entgegentreten würde wie einem Putin oder auch den Verantwortlichen in Serbien oder Kroatien, das halte ich für unwahrscheinlich. Mein Vertrauen in diese Institutionen war schon vorher schwach, aber diese unendliche Grausamkeit, mit der der Westen den Palästinensern begegnet ist unfassbar.

Ich find die Anzahl der Downvotes auch ziemlich schade für diesen Kommentar. Es ist sehr sehr einfach, sich in so einem Protest „gegen rechts“ auszusprechen und auf die Straße zu gehen. Man kann sich gut fühlen und das Richtige tun, ohne dass es für einen persönlich irgendwie unangenehm wird.

Es ist schon ziemlich ironisch, dass die Regierung, die hinter den Protesten steht selbst rechte, menschenverachtende Politik durchzieht. Das scheint es aber nicht wert, auf die Straße getragen zu werden, da trifft die rechte Politik ja nur irgendwelche Anderen.

Weird, my experience in Hungary was the opposite. No one nude and I think people would have been really weirded out. This was my experience from several thermal baths in the country, although always mixed gender. Maybe if there’s single gender days it may be different.

Good to know! I worked in finance & consulting before and have never really seen it there or heard of it. Maybe I got lucky with the areas I was working in.

This. Some tech company bs. The measures compiled into it are often vague or impossible to achieve. Mostly it’s a tool to create a paper trail for firing you. They will say that you didn’t manage to achieve the goals of the plan, hence you’re fired. Sometimes people survive it. Sometimes it’s also genuinely meant to help improve your performance. One could argue that if you have a good feedback loop with your manager it won’t ever get this far, so mostly this tool is just used to get rid of unwanted people. Some companies have a quota of people to be put into this, e.g. Amazon.

It‘s the skip level of my former manager who’s reaching out now, but otherwise correct. Yeah my concern is about confidentiality and possible retaliation. Like it would be helpful to share the feedback but not at my own expense. So I guess I’m trying to weigh the risks here.
