The book that killed hundreds of people

  • Many states did, but many passed them as "secondary offenses" so you you could only be pulled over for something else that's a primary offense and then the police could ticket you for phone use

Now many states are going back and passing laws that make it a primary offense

  • This is just following the capitalist model: steal stuff without any credit/payment to the originators, feel smug for "your innovative ideas."

All my cross-posts that have been identified as OC are credited back to the user in a way that does not link back to the .ml comm

Honesty is an option. Go in with good faith, not like you have the truth. For example, "this publication says....how can I believe the publication's refute? I don't know what to believe because propaganda everywhere. How can I know this isn't propaganda? Additional information please," or something. Then take the time you spend in self-congratulatory mockery to follow up. I mean I honestly dk, I've said some really uninformed stuff over there and am somehow not banned.

Sometimes we just can't always know what to believe and that's okay. I usually just wait for more information, and sometimes that takes a really long time, or never comes.

.ml does not return that good faith, I don't consider banning and censoring the opposing view to be welcoming good faith arguments:

  • Eh, it kinda happens when it's warranted, like those fuck faces last year that bought their son a gun that he used to shoot his classmates and actively covered up numerous red flags. iirc they ended up with accomplice murder charges.

But there are plenty of cases where parents "did everything right" and things still go wrong, it happens.

  • Perhaps calling for a boycott with the exception of countering their BS as desired would be better?

But they definitely are well on their way to that on their own with all their bans, I find it hilarious that the only crosspost of the donation threads that were all praise and positivity in the comments was the original one on .ml. That's a massive red flag if I ever saw one LMAO. All the others were, at best, .... controversial lol
