I don't know if it's broken, just slanted to favor industry as intended. It's amazing what happens when it becomes a job seekers' market though, and why corporations hate it when the labor market is hot in workers' favor since they don't have to play these bullshit power games when there are companies lining up to accept candidates.

I have to wonder if she's received threats from them or affiliate groups since she rejected their "donations" a while back.
I'd definitely agree, especially regarding driving. Last summer I was talking with my insurance agent, and wondering why auto insurance rates were going through the roof, to which he responded that accidents are surging. I live in a small town, and haven't really seen to much of an increase. Then I went down to visit my mom last weekend, and holy shit now I know what they're talking about. People driving like absolute lunatics, much worse than when I lived down there, especially during rush hour. Another side note, COVID broke people experiencing concerts. It used to be people dancing, moshing, singing along, etc. Now, people just stand there, usually on their phones, and look at you like a nutjob if you dance. I saw David Gilmore at the Hollywood Bowl a few months ago, and aside from people talking straight through the show (which happened even before COVID because people have always sucked), most of the crowd was sitting still in their seats, and the people behind us got mad when we were standing. It was weird. Like I know that Gilmore attracts an older crowd these days, but still, it's David freaking Gilmore.
I'm guessing it'll continue along the crease of his neck and fly off into the ether. It would be rad if it decapitated him, but the real world isn't that pleasant these days.
That's kind of where I'm at. I really just want quality in terms of goods, and for theat reason I'm more inclined to shop at an actual store as opposed to online just to get something in my hands to feel out, as well as a good warranty for higher prices items. I've been trying to support smaller businesses since most of the stuff at box box stores is generally disposable crap anyway, it just depends on the item. But like the other guy said, I'm not spending a whole lot these days since disposable income isn't really much of a thing anymore.
Iirc he flies up Monday, stays in the corporate penthouse during the week, then flies back Thursday or Friday. I'll be honest I haven't kept up on it as I really don't care lol, I just remember the article from a few months or whatever back.
OC to Seattle, but yes. The guy didn't want to relocate from Newport Beach, so they bought him a jet to make his weekly "commute."
It got better.

Sure, let's make them pay a paltry sum that mostly enriches the lawyers, and everyone else gets a check for a nickel.
Just gonna get a little cancer, Stan, tell Mom it's fine. Can you hand me a beer?
No shit. As of about 2 1/2 weeks ago, all work in my small mountain town just flat out stopped. I've been travelling a couple hours to the beach cities in my area since rich folks don't care that there's a recession happening.
Quizás
Ok I ate the onion lol
My theory is that anyone who's bothered by gay/trans/etc people is a closeted something and doesn't want to be reminded of their own insecurities.
No no, it has to tank so everything is stupid cheap to buy up since the average person will now be too poor to do anything.
