I really like Kbin, but I noticed that they have a harder time getting traction than on Lemmy. Don't know why though, on paper there is no reason.
Wait, there were Lemmy stickers?
Also they have a Matrix room, you can maybe ask there: https://matrix.to/#/#infodesk:fosdem.org
Good question. They have a Youtube channel, but don't seem to use it that much: https://www.youtube.com/@fosdemtalks/videos
Sounds like a nice approach.

Well spotted, ha ha
It seems to me that the other gaming communities have a lot of news content rather than discussions.
A bit like the difference between !moviesandtv@lemm.ee (news focused) and !movies@lemm.ee (discussion focused)

Interesting coincidence, I just opened a wedding-related thread in !askmenover30@lemm.ee
As other people say, you have to draw a line, and if you are not a talking basis, it seems understandable to not invite them. They should understand.
Just for consistency, you might want to either block me on this account as well, or unblock @Blaze@discuss.tchncs.de. Yeah sorry, I have a few too many alts.
We'll see in Q2 2024, there is no official release date announced so far
True, I forgot about this performance, it was great!
