Iran has offered a decisive response to the fascist Tel Aviv regime's (US-backed) genocidal violence against Gaza and Lebanon. Snip:

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) issued a statement shortly after the missile attack began.

It said in response to the martyrdom of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyah, Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC commander Abbas Nilforoushan, the IRGC Aerospace Force launched dozens of ballistic missiles targeting key military and intelligence bases in the heart of the occupied territories.

The IRGC further said that the attack was in line with the country’s right to legitimate self-defense as per the United Nations Charter, and in response to the regime's escalating crimes—backed by the United States—against the people of Lebanon and Gaza.

The Zionist regime will face more crushing attacks in case it reacts to Iran’s operation, the IRGC added.

In a follow-up statement, the IRGC said three Israeli military bases in Tel Aviv were hit during the operation.

In this operation, a number of air and radar bases, as well as centers for conspiracy and assassination planning against resistance leaders and IRGC commanders were targeted, the statement said.

Hezbollah has used the Fadi 3 rocket for the first time in a strike targeting Israel’s Samson military base, the Lebanese resistance movement announced on its Telegram page on 24 September.

“In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance, on Tuesday, 24-09-2024, bombed the Samson Base (a command preparation center and regional preparation unit) with Fadi-3 rockets,” the statement said.

The Samson base is a camp of the Technology and Maintenance Corps of the Israeli military near the Golani interchange in the Lower Galilee region of northern Israel to the east of Haifa and west of Tiberias.

Lebanese resistance forces struck back in response to the fascist Tel Aviv regime's barbarous attack on two apartment buildings in southern Beirut that assassinated resistance commander Ibrahim Aqil and massacred at least 13 other people (17 others are missing).

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah says pager and walkie-talkie explosions by Israel on Tuesday and Wednesday which killed 37 people and wounded nearly 3,000 in Lebanon are a declaration of war.

"The enemy has crossed all red lines and all laws in this attack. This is a massive terrorist attack, genocide, a massacre," Nasrallah said Thursday in his first televised address since the attack.

"The Tuesday and Wednesday massacres are a war crime, a declaration of war...you can call it anything," he said, adding Israel will face "tough retribution and just punishment, where it expects it and where it does not".

The Israeli army announced on 18 September that four Israeli soldiers were killed during clashes with the Palestinian resistance in Gaza’s southernmost city of Rafah a day earlier.

Several others were injured in the fighting in southern Gaza, including an officer who is in serious condition, an Israeli army statement said.

The four were killed after stepping into a building rigged to blow by the resistance in Rafah’s Tal al-Sultan neighborhood.
