The guardrails can be removed though, and several models already do, so his point is correct, regardless
Sooooo... Flat dr pepper then.
Fwiw, chatgpt gave me a full historical account of the incident., after some prodding, so did deepseek local.
Deepseek local is easy to remove the guardrails though.
Fuck me this is accurate.
Go to the download page on Microsoft's site, change users agent to macos or iOS and safari and you can download the ISO directly.
If you are upgrading from 10 you can just mount the ISO and run the setup file. If you need to make a bootable USB use Rufus.
DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET AND DO NOT CONNECT UNTIL YOU ARE ON THE DESKTOP LOGGED INTO A LOCAL ACCOUNT
For local account creation, when oobe setup starts hit shift f10 and in the cmd prompt type oobe\bypassnro and press enter. When it prompts for a network connection choose I don't have internet.
Is he though? Unfortunately, we may have yet to find out the answer to that question.
It's OS and better than the proprietary shit, ofc they are terrified of it.
I pass a house and I see a flag... "A racist definitely lives there."
God damn you love to hear yourself talk.
Fuck me, this dude loves to hear himself talk.
This word soup is fucking trash. Let me do everyone here a favor:
This post is highly verbose, filled with tangential points, and jumps between topics, making it difficult to follow. Here’s a breakdown of what the person seems to be saying:
- The Incident: The poster was involved in an online situation where their behavior led to complaints in various forums (e.g., Lemmy, Ask Lemmy).
- Their Defense: They shared their perspective on the incident in another forum or blog and were encouraged by someone named Blaze to post it in a specific community ("YPTB"). However, moderators of YPTB rejected their post and directed them to share it elsewhere.
- Actions Taken: Following the moderators' advice, they posted it in another community ("!fediverselore"), which they claim has some precedent for allowing such discussions. Despite this, the moderators from YPTB showed up there to criticize them for not following the original community's "specific posting guidelines."
- Rules Debate: The poster argues that the supposed "posting guidelines" they were accused of breaking either don’t exist or weren’t clearly stated. They tried to dissect the rules piece by piece to show they didn’t violate any, and even Blaze agreed with them.
- "Unspoken Rules": The moderators, according to the poster, eventually justified their criticism by referring to "unspoken rules" or norms not explicitly stated. This concept frustrates the poster because it undermines their defense and supports what they see as a subjective or inconsistent enforcement of rules.
- Broader Grievance: The poster feels ostracized and believes that the community or moderators operate under a "groupthink" mentality, where dissenting views (like theirs) are dismissed or punished. They also criticize the practice of using downvotes or negative feedback as a measure of validity or correctness.
- Hypothetical Question: They sarcastically propose a scenario where they could ban everyone in their own spaces for supporting someone named Luigi Mangione, claiming this would be no different from how the moderators are applying their discretion under "unspoken rules." They are questioning the fairness of such norms.
- Final Thoughts: The post ends with an open-ended challenge or provocation, suggesting that the community or moderators’ logic is flawed and asking how they will respond to this critique.
TL;DR:
The poster feels unfairly treated due to vague or non-existent rules being used to criticize their actions. They believe the moderators and community enforce norms subjectively, based on group consensus or unspoken rules, rather than clear guidelines. They see this as hypocritical and are challenging the logic behind it. The post is laden with frustration, sarcasm, and an air of intellectual superiority.
Lauren Boebert forced to apologize after trying to kick out ‘a guy’ from women’s bathroom at Capitol
I think the one that got me the most was some commenter on reddit called another a "fucking bucket". In context it was really funny.
Who would have thought that murdering, raping, and pillaging an entire sect of people would have turned passive into activist, activist into active?
Lauren Boebert forced to apologize after trying to kick out ‘a guy’ from women’s bathroom at Capitol
No, you fucking halfwit meatball. They are pointing out the obvious reasons why from the outset it would not have been her in that bathroom.
They (McBride) wouldn't want to be going in a restroom like that where they could be harassed rather than just using any of the myriad of private restrooms that they have access to.
Therefore, the outcome that it was not McBride was obvious from the outset, but only Blowbert (and apparently you) are dumb enough to believe that it actually would have been her in the restroom.
I legit didn't realize this till I tried to plug in an HDMI dongle into my 1+11. I was less than pleased. Also my 1+pad as well. That made me VERY unhappy.
This is very good. The apps need to be able to do on the fly conversion for hevc/heic though, especially on iOS.
To my knowledge, none of the Android apps can do it yet.
Might I suggest "Differently Gifted" which is not only very funny on it's own, but at the same time it patronizes the person you were talking about satisfyingly disrespectful manner.
He absolutely did the right thing. Why are you like this?
2 massive issues I have with pixelfed: No support for webp No support for hevc/heic
I don't use an iPhone but I do use heic for 10bit. As heic is default on iPhone, this means that iPhone users go through all the hassle to set up a pixelfed account but then can't upload anything.
That's not good.
Foreign policy is about power, not morals.
There are three powers in the region. Iran Israel and Saudi Arabia. Losing Israel would mean that the US no longer wields nearly as much power in the region.
There's a lot of nuance to it, but that is the gist of it.
Oh yes crimes against humanity, nothing to see here Sprinkle some crack on them and let's get out of here.
Fucking putz.
