I can't even use my home screen due to my Google account settings. What i'l do is do a search by date and subscribe to any good channels I like to ensure I get a curated feed for me on Youtube.
You know why they might be hiding upload dates? My theory is, Youtube doesn’t really want you looking at new stuff. (Very apparent by the algorithm) they want you looking at specific news stories, and specific content but not constantly seeking new uploads from independents.
But that is just a theory a plain theory. Thanks for watching.

All I can tell anyone concerned is, switch to Peertube. Pick an instance that's not fascist to avoid being labeled an alt right just from using it, and subscribe to creators and upload your videos there. (as even association with right platforms can be problematic for ones reputation.
Rumble and Odeysee, arguably are too dangerous to join, to one reputation. These platforms are known for either being or openly allowing alt right content. I would avoid those. Peertube is a safer choice, since it would vary on the specific server.
To me it's one thing if a 3rd party does a refurbished product but when its from the official seller, now I'm just like- might as well buy it used.
I don't know much about Washington post but when I look on allsides, even 2+ years ago I specifically remember it being labeled as a right leaning news source. So hearing any of this doesn't come to much surprise from the Washington Post. edit: I was thinking of the New York post. my mistake.
oh and it's not 100% free to use
Maybe proton mail could.. wait no.. they wouldn't.. would they?
Assumimg the worst, what's the most damage they could do though a game like this.
Ok. But if they were to do so what could they potentially do and how would they.
Does an open source game from Frozenbubble or Super Tux have any types pf vulnerabilities to worry about like a web browser might or is it safe to just download it, with no worries. As long it's downloaded from safe repositories?
On most androuid smartphones have charge port isat the bottom likely to discpurages usage while charging for battery health. The psp also had charger port in an unconfortqable spot that I remember.
Hey look I understand the annoyance but maybe apple is protecting consumers. Im no expert on this but have heard in tje past that its not good for the battery to use a device while its battery is charging.
Yet I do this with chromebook often and the device two years later works like new. But that's a Chromebook with an on average, bigger battery then most low cost phones/mouee.
Fight data caps bills comcast, not the consumer's damn right to cancel a sub. Its supose to be "cancel anytime." Like Google was once, "do no evil.'
Imagine if Youtubers did this.
No derivatives for a PS1 emulator? That's not sounding like helping PS1 emulation progress as time goes on. You got to go through the "official" channel for that from Duckstation. I'm sure that's gonna go over well with the emulation audience.
Also keep in mind the PS1 was new in the specific year of 1995. in another perspective 2015 was 9 years ago by 2025 it would be 10 whole years. 2005 would be 20 years. so that's right the ps1 is almost 30 years old. Not to mention Duckstation is very similar to other PS1 emulators in terms of features, why are they doing this?
I heard of greens, but as a party I hadn't actually seen them or any of the others covered much. Usually you just hear about Republicans and democrats. Might just be censorship and lack of exposure in the u.s.
Learn about why online subscriptions can be damaging, and how to escape them or reduce their negative impact in this playlist.
I put together a playlist on Peertube specifically about why subscription services are bad. Some videos are about the specific term subscription service, others are about specific type of subscription services like adobe.
Watch this to learn how to escape these paid services, and about alternatives.
A socialist party would be nice in u.s politics.
How to do this on defualt Lemmy on desktop?
Some homebrew games are ports of some legit original games, some are even open source ports like Hex-a-hop, which has been ported to the 3DS.
Companies like Nintendo just can't stand the idea of their systems being unlocked due to the new ability to pirate their games. It doesn't even matter if you have pirated, to them, they'l fight to push laws against modding consoles as well.
Bad on their part.
For me i'm always hearing people complain about these companies bad practices. What you hear is based off of who you listen to.
Alot of "official sources" are actually owned by alot of forprofit corporations, so of course you're going to hear piracy bad from those outlets.
But if you follow some youtubers, like Yongyea, you will find voices that actively call out companies like Nintendo and ea's bad practices.
1 dislike for Socialism. rip.
I know people like to set everything to new and just leave it at that. Especially when you just got out of an algorithm abusive environment on major social media platforms.
For me, I changed to using the "hot" sorting method rather then the new and active sorting methods. Granted I started out with the "new".
Heres why I went from new to hot.
Some new posts don't get comments. There are sometimes duplicate posts that do get comments that are talking about the same topic.
What hot setting does is essentially, keep newer posts that are active with comments active. Score has an impact, but as a post itself get older itself then others will rise despite how high the score was or comment amount. Making this I think my current preferred.
In other words hot is a slight modification to active setting. Active doesn't factor the date of the post with scaling, and it even I think beats the algorithms since I know how it's working and that it might not change behind my back (looking at you Youtube.).
Last remarks: What are your favorite setting and/or perspectives on post sorting?
I am not for fascism. I am not for anything that degrades minorities. Actual intent is out of question. If it it degrades minorities, i'm not for it.
