  • Indica vs. Sativa: let's talk about this for a second. There's no difference between them other than how the plant itself look botanicaly. There's a common misconception there, that was mainly contributed to by myth and legend over the years. What matters is terpene and canabinoid make up of the flower of a strain. Don't shy away from trying hybrid or sativa strains.

Cannabis use also may hinder active sleep while high. Due to the psycho active properties, it can lead to the brain not wanting to enduce a REM state of sleep. That being said the come down, or "burn out", may infact help one fall into a sleep easier. This is potentially caused by a post dopamine blast a thc high gives, you're brain likes dopamine and sleep also provides this, thus triggering your brain to want to sleep.

Play around with strains with higher levels of myrcene and humulene terpenes, as they are said to help induce a tired sleep state. Also look into higher CBD% strains. It's common for dispensary weed to be high THC% with lower CBD%.

Maybe try smoking a bit more, a bit earlier before bed so you hit the burn out stage slightly earlier and with a stronger presence.

Also I'm personally not a fan of these distillate carts(unless i make and fill my own), they seem very inconsistent and who knows wth they put in there to increase viscosity. Potentially look into getting somthing like a Dr.dabber and buying concentrates like live resins/ full spectrum extracted concentrates that are not mixed into a cart solution. Might give you a more accurate/consistent result vs carts.

I'm not a doctor nor "professional" in cannabis. But I've smoked for a long time, have grown many a plant, and am a hobbiest concentrate extractor.

  • You'll get a long life span with a modern SSD compared to a HDD.

Here's a quick lifespan formula you can use to calculate about how many years until its completely done: (Write cycles * Capacity) / (SSD factor * Data Written per year)

Personally my Samsung 1tb 840 pro sata ssd has been running as a game drive since the end of 2014. Damn near 9 years. I've never seen a HDD live that long outside of enterprise use, even then it's rare.

More so, the performance is night and day difference.

  • I haven't been to dispensaries in Ont. Just Sk, Man, AB, BC. This is mainly regarding bud:

Due to storage regulations, shits usally dry as fuck. And if you care about more than just the thc%, you won't find much. Might not be best for an asthmatic person. I'd just look into edibles tbh.

Grey/blackmarket or homegrown is vastly superior quality over all in my experiences

  • Just another possible point of failure with no real upside, beside the ability to slam it shut while on a call when angry like it is 2005 again.

Cosmetically the screen creases would anoy me.

Only use case I see valuable would be easier portability of larger screen formats. But I really never use a tablet to begin with.

I'm sure the tech will go towards better curved displays like monitors, tvs, and VR headset optics. Which are some things i maybe interested in using.

But at this point I feel it's more gimmick than anything.

  • Mainly just for fun, usually do it when I'm watching over my nephew. He just turned 10 and loves the Nintendo games, and I'm just an avid retro collector who likes to somewhat "teach" / keep the history of the retro games. He can't get enough of "how different everything looked back then".

Maybe I should do some documentation and share the differences some place! Thanks for pointing me at the snap community btw 😀.

  • For real dude, there's no decent sized mid sized pickups anymore. I drove my '99 dodge Dakota forever and loved the size! It even had a V8 compared to most of the newer land yachts with 4 bangers and v6s.

I don't need a block on wheels, I just need a smaller pickup because I camp and haul shit enough to justify needing one vs a car or suv.

  • I'd like to see a dock with proper 4k output and scaling. Some of the older switch titles kinda looking strange on larger format TVs. But I guess the main point of the switch is the portability aspect.

  • Check out World Chase Tag league. Pretty cool to watch.

I think a pro hide and seek would be fun to watch, imagine how intense it would be when a seeker is close to a hider, watching the hider try and remain calm to not be found haha.

  • Holy crapoli, I've tried other peoples heels briefly a few times. I have no idea how people even walk in them let alone log roll in them! That sounds like some great entertainment tbh.

Or imagine one of those lumberjack competitions where they scale the trees and top them.

This is the kind of television we need!

  • Hopefully we see some more Sat based comms being implimented soon from Canadian sources. Sasktel (crown Corp major ISP in SK) has done a decent job getting mobile network access available in rural areas. But as soon as you head anywhere north of La Ronge you're shit outta luck without satellite.

Would love to build a retirement home up near Besnard, but a fast stable internet connections kinda requirement for me haha.

  • Just wondering because I don't buy hardware I don't need so I'm still using a Note 10+. Not defending a corporation at all here just genuinely want to better my choices as a consumer:

Besides the removable Samsung branded apps that I was able to just remove, have they started adding addtional bloatware with messures to restrict removal in the more recent device categories?

See a lot of bloatware being mentioned, but noones pointing to specifics. Sorry to pick your comment to reply to, seeing theres plenty. Hoping other people can chime in as well.
