Obviously it had an impact on me, though I didn’t watch past the 2nd season for reasons I can’t really remember. I also have a small friend group online that is mostly people who came out of the MLP fandom. I think almost everyone in the group is queer and there are multiple trans girls including myself. MLP caused a lot of gender questioning and was definitely a trans pipeline. The Kill James Bond podcast ep on the MLP movie talks about this a good bit.
