yeah, the last time I tried to get a diagnosis it was a 6 month wait just to meet the doctor for it. And I had to make a phone call too which I avoid at all costs even if it's detrimental because the anxiety gets to me so bad haha
My favorite thing I learned while researching for writing was that hunter-gatherers worked less hours than the modern human 🙃
iirc the article stated 'work' as when they hunted, not for stuff like cooking and crafting
I know the signs because I was obsessed with Homestuck in middle school
Cayde-6 moment
So is this like talking about the zone out daydream stuff? Cause if so, I simply don't exist. I pick one of the stories I've made and work on them instead. Or replay some of my favorite scenes.
If this is about the mental image of myself, it's either a formless stream of consciousness, or when I'm berating myself I almost acknowledge it as a different person
ooh my tactile icks would be silk-y textures and microfiber cloth. In addition to soap and lotions so I try to be efficient with it before I can't stand the feeling
I gotta start direct downloading my music again soon. Spotify has just left me feeling so frustrated lately.
when I'm in my group chat, I leave with a 'it's eepy mode time'
omg i can't believe the detail of the Japanese text back stitching. that's amazing
and who's to say this is actual data, and not just some intern spitting out some idea
front and messy back. i went to a craftstore with my mom a couple months ago and bought a kit on a whim. found out I really like the process of cross stitching! I definitely made some mistakes for sure but I've already ordered materials for my next project :3c So far I'm not a huge fan of back stitching but I can see the promise in it.
yep, to me emojiis and emoticons act as punctuation. helps keep things more casual :3
yeah lmao the population of Kohls shoppers and Amazon returners is completely different it's kinda ironic how the higher ups thought this was gonna fix their geriatric demographic.
I do enjoy working at the Amazon return counter tho. since its a bad attempt to get a younger customer base I'm slapped in the back corner of the store all by myself. eight hours of vibing to my own music and having barebones conversations while playing 3d Tetris with the returns. and bonus I haven't recieved a sex toy return in a while either!
good stuff
don't worry, your taxes aren't going into the education system! they're all being funneled into the military anyway
I want to get better at consuming water and I think my biggest downfall is water quality currently. The water where I live is very hard (and constantly getting polluted thanks 3M) and while I can usually trust what we do at home, there's no way I can trust my work to properly filter the water they provide us. I remember using a filtered water bottle back in high school but I lost that at some point. While I've done some research into what's available results were inconclusive. Any homies got any recommendations for me?
It's called The Bride of Barbaroi for those wondering. Unless I misunderstood the translation it gets revealed that the main love interests are aunt and nephew.
