But Trump subsequently rejected the position he had once championed and is now poised to take action “to keep TikTok from going dark.” After a March 2024 meeting with hedge fund manager Jeff Yass, a GOP megadonor who reportedly held a major financial stake in ByteDance, Trump abruptly reversed his support for TikTok’s divestment, saying that “young people will go crazy without it.” The platform also reportedly altered its algorithm to benefit Trump’s presidential campaign, which [used](

The possibility of a Dragon Age collection, similar to BioWare’s 2021 Mass Effect Legendary Collection, presents notable challenges, according to a recent interview with BioWare’s Director of Product Development. With experience at BioWare dating back to the original Dragon Age: Origins in 2009, Epler expressed enthusiasm for the idea, while acknowledging the difficulties due to the series’ engine diversity.

Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II were developed using BioWare’s custom Eclipse Engine, while the third game, Dragon Age: Inquisition, was built using Frostbite, EA’s proprietary engine, initially designed for the Battlefield series. This contrast creates a significant technical hurdle for a remaster. In the interview, Epler noted, “I think I’m one of about maybe 20 people left at BioWare who’s actually used Eclipse,” emphasizing the uniqueness of each title’s engine.

Offener November 2024 + Filmfestival, Global Donut Days und Solarpunk-Spiel in der Pipeline (don't blow it [up])

Speaking to The New York Times, the Ohio senator grew agitated when repeatedly asked if Trump had lost

No one dwells on the 2020 election nearly as much as Donald Trump, who reminds supporters of his refusal to concede at nearly every campaign stop. But in an hour-long interview with The New York Times, Trump's latest running mate wanted to talk about anything but the former president's central, animating grievance.

"Did Donald Trump lose the 2020 election?" is the simple question that the Times' Lulu Garcia-Navarro asked Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, five times during an interview that is set to be published in full on Sunday. Five times Vance refused to answer.

'Shell' - Max Minghella reveals surprising cinematic influences in his "nostalgic homage"

cross-posted from: https://feddit.uk/post/17609883

Director Max Minghella (Spiral: From the Book of Saw, Horns) wears his cinematic influences on his sleeves with sophomore feature effort Shell, a body horror dark comedy written by Jack Stanley (The Passenger).

Elisabeth Moss (The Invisible Man) finds herself embarking on a scary new beauty treatment as aging actor Samantha Lake. She quickly befriends Zoe Shannon (Kate Hudson), CEO of health & wellness company Shell. When their patients start to go missing, including starlet Chloe Benson (Kaia Gerber), Samantha realizes Shell may be protecting a monstrous secret.

The escapist love letter to ’90s cinema leans into dark comedy, but embraces everything from Paul Verhoeven to Soapdish, Species, and Sliver, if that’s any indicator of genre range here. Bloody Disgusting spoke with Minghella, who made his feature directorial debut with 2018’s Teen Spirit, about the genre-bender out of TIFF, where the film had its World Pr
