Yeah, there's a lot of little touches in there, like the "Delta Flyer 3" on the car that really elevate it beyond the standard slapdash meme. I prefer to post my own OC, but when I saw this one, I knew it had to be shared.

Fun fact: Tom Paris was originally intended to be Nick Locarno, until they realized they would have to pay the writers of that episode royalties every single episode... At which point they just filed the serial numbers off and we got "this guy who totally isn't Nick Locarno."

My head canon has always been they are the same character, and the stuff his character did when he was on TNG was the reason he quit Star Fleet to join the Marquis.
