New details have emerged regarding one of Ubisoft's recently canceled projects.
I feel cheated. This would have been epic.
Why? With Ubisoft making it, it couldnt ever hold even half of a candle to Elden Ring or Wind Waker.
You realize that just because those are the artistic influences, it doesn't mean the game would be anything like Elden Ring or Wind Waker right? Core gameplay, story, mechanics, etc. You don't have to compare games against other games to measure your enjoyment.
What I do know is Ubisoft makes some pretty damn good games.
You think? It would've most likely been the exact same thing as every single other ubisoft open world game.
That may have been what they pitched to investors. There's no way Ubisoft would have pulled something like that off without ruining it.
