Fun fact: fossilised animal faeces is called coprolite
There’s a piece of “coprolite” in the new natural history museum as well.
Now that is one big pile of shit
Your [lego masters] were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should
you know... there was a suprisingling interesting interview on Shortwave, where they were talking with some one whose specialty was studying dino poo.
There were enough poop puns that even my nephew learned a thing or two.
Somewhere in the Lego company HQ is an employee who still can't believe that the suggestion he made as a joke was taken seriously.
Looks legit to me. Check the first instruction download and scroll to page 39.
XD That set is a nice one. I hope they make more sets with those road plates. Perhaps they could make curved roads? That'd be awesome.
We’ve officially arrived at the Future. It’s the dawn of a new age of mankind
I love it that in TT Games Lego Jurassic Park, the superpower for Dr Ellie Sattler is that she doesn’t get disgusted with smelly obstacles.
I appreciate you trying to stimulate engagement and growth in this Lemmy community, but copying Reddit posts as you have been doesn’t seem like the way to me. If you see an especially cool MOC or whatnot from Reddit, sure bring it over, but please remember to credit the OP. And with a discussion or a detail such as this one, please make sure the premise of the discussion or detail is factually correct; this set alone has already been on shelves for 7 months, and the brown swirl piece has been around since 2019.
I think Lemmy communities have to be non-reliant on their Reddit counterparts in order to flourish.
Well, free free to post your content too, the more the merrier!
I have posted some of my own MOCs and misc. as I complete them, and I have a large MOC in the works presently, but it is a slow process on my end because of work and life. I don’t want to make Lemmy posts of my OC that I had already posted on Reddit since it seems like we’re still in the Reddit refugee stage so anyone who would see it here would have already had the opportunity to see it on Reddit. I’m also not saying everything posted has to be OC, but it shouldn’t become a one-source recycling grounds with little QA.
"please follow all these rules so there's no fun"
Lighten up man.
What hard and fast rules described in my comment do you take issue with?
