Plenty of folks in the real world still know murder is wrong, even when the murdered person has done heinous acts.
That said, I think this development was inevitable. People will only take so much inequality before taking matters into their own hands. I just hope we avoid the decent into anarchy that defined the lead up to WW1.

Undocumented immigrants are willing to work worse jobs for less pay and less desirable conditions and drive down what should be the natural cost of labor for those with legal status. It erodes pay and standards for those who are here legally. This is how you end up with markets where the workers can’t even afford to live there.
