Is the ban for recording it or for SHARING it?
- Recording uploads clips automatically to MS servers so that you can share it, but they have a no explicit content rule so it automatically counts as an infraction
  
  Let me guess, you can't opt out of uploading the clips
- Simply recording.
  
  Not really. It was the public sharing that got them in trouble.
  
  Maybe they didn't intend to share it, but the default settings are to share all clips.
