My phone isnt supported?
Hello, when I try to download the Voyager app it tells me my phone is unsupported. Is there a solution to this?
I'm on a Samsung a21s with Android 12.
On a side note, what the heck is a Google Octopus?

5 0 ReplyAhh got it. I never rename my devices so I thought that was a product name.
4 0 ReplyIt was just the default name and I never bothered to change it.

You should be able to install it without the play store tho?
5 0 ReplyWell yes I could. I was just wondering why my phone wasn't supported.

Just now finding out about this. What advantages would this have over the Web app?
5 0 ReplyYour browser history isn't filled with Voyager.
Other than that, nothing much.
11 1 ReplyNever was because I use Native Alpha Plus. I'm on the Android App now and it's a bit smoother and I like this "Android Mode" as well. Very nice

I saw in another thread that you were asking for a list of devices getting this error message.
4 0 ReplyThank you! I don't see any consistency in devices so far, I'm wondering if this has to do with Voyager's "Mature" store rating?

I'm wondering if this is due to age? Voyager is "Mature" (18+)
Some Lemmy apps are Teen, some are Mature, it's not very consistent.
