Disagree. Ron is pragmatic to a fault. Hauling air isn't pragmatic, nor does it do anything to hinder the function of government so I don't think he would.

TBF, he does live out in the woods and does a lot of woodworking and stuff like that. He probably has more use for a truck than most.

He also drives about the most reasonable vehicle on earth, a mid to late 90s Park Ave with a 3.8. Genuinely one of my favourite cars, absolute highway monsters bigger than some trucks and drive better than they have any right to.

You don't need a truck. Get rid of it.
Unless you work as a handyman or farmer or something, you don't need a truck. You can ask a friend or rent a trailer for the once in a year occurrence you need to transport something huge.
