Fogel said he doesn't believe the trends in public opinion are irreversible.
"Without a doubt, it's of deep concern," he said. "But here's the thing. As the millennials and Gen Zers and so forth mature, they will be confronted increasingly with some of the anomalies of what they had thought was the case. So, for example, the young LGBTQ community, seeing itself as part of the struggle for greater equality and empowerment and freedom, have gravitated towards this particular camp.
"But as they have to confront the inconsistencies — how, for example, somebody from the LGBTQ community living in Gaza doesn't really have much of a future, contrasting that to pride festivals in Tel Aviv on an annual basis. Different groups that have identified with these progressive voices will be challenged to rationalize them.
"I can only be hopeful that as their experience deepens, they are going to appreciate in a much more sophisticated way the problems inherent in that simplistic view of the world as being divided in a binary way between the oppressed and the oppressor, the victims and the victimizers."

I also read an IDF report recently detailing how Gaza has never held any Columbus Day celebrations. The world needs to know! This is unacceptable anti-It*lian discrimination. it's got to be something related to watching cable TV as well. I'm convinced of that. I know this isn't a material analysis or whatever, but anecdotally every boomer family member I have who sits in front of cable news has become rabid. Their particular cultural grievances have started consuming their every waking hour and it's only gotten worse. My boomer family who aren't into TV are pretty normal, they're spending their autumn years learning to whittle sculptures or building koi ponds in their backyards or whatever.
And it extends to both my liberal and chud family, they're both lockstep with whatever their chosen TV man tells them.

Polls on this show huge gaps between age demographics in the US. Income, race, party, etc. have some correlation too, but age is the biggest factor by far. (I'm sure there's a lot of reasons for that, but for one, the older you are you tend to get all your info from mainstream media and cable TV)
From that Harvard-Harris poll that was posted here, 70% of Gen Z does not think America should support Israel, while nearly 80% of boomers do (while millennials are like 50/50):

People involved in Israeli advocacy admit to being shocked at the size of pro-Palestinian protests across the West, and their ability to mobilize far greater numbers of people than have come out in support of Israel.
The tone at some of the protests has been "vitriolic," Fogel told CBC News.

One of the most annoying thing about boomers is how they steadfastly refuse to treat younger people as grown adults
Millennials in America own a fraction of the wealth of baby boomers (13T vs 78T, or 8% vs 50%). Boomers and Gen X together own 80% of the nation’s wealth against millennial’s 8%. This leaves the millennials with practically very little political and economic influence in the country.
So, it is not wrong to think that even 40-year old millennials can be seen as a child with little means of rebelling against their parents who command all the wealth and power.
I used to think there would be an intergenerational wealth transfer to alleviate this, but in reality boomer wealth is just getting hoovered up by the financial services industry with shit like reverse mortgages, and of course, end of life care. The boomers leave this earth penniless
