No one should be surprised. There's never been consequences. Why would someone not delete evidence, when from easily Nixon, Reagan and on. There's been zero consequence.
He should be forced to serve the rest of his short term from a jail cell. But best Democrats and all the other elected officials can do is make concerned faces. Shaking their heads.

I called them all out. I named Democrats specifically, because pushing back against all of this should have been job one from day one. But I have personally watched them flail and fail for 4 plus decades. In fact even recently I've watched some Democrats whom I had previously respected and thought well of appease and enable the fascists. Like Cory Booker. I called him out specifically because we expect better of them. We don't have reason to expect better of them but we do.
The downside: The US government has been overrun by fascists, and the people won't remove them
